Frequent air crash, Boeing needs cool? Boeing's performance is dismal with zero orders in April

Today's Boeing company is in dire straits. After the stock price plummeted a while ago and the 737max series aircraft were grounded by many countries, Boeing's business was also hit hard. A few days ago, according to the latest report of foreign media, the order quantity of Boeing's new airliner in the past April was 0, and two air accidents within half a year completely cooled Boeing.

Boeing failed in April

All along, Boeing 737 is the best-selling aircraft of Boeing company, and has become the main revenue source of Boeing company. However, the model did not receive any commercial orders in March, which broke the embarrassing record of zero monthly sales for seven years. Also in April, the situation did not improve at all.

In April, Boeing also received no new aircraft orders. In the same period last year, Boeing received as many as 76 new aircraft orders. In terms of the total delivery volume, the delivery volume in April was only 23, a sharp drop of 91% compared with the same period last year. All this still starts from the two air accidents.

In March this year, the air crash in Ethiopia shocked the world, which resulted in the death of all 157 people on board. What's more puzzling is that the plane in which the accident happened was Boeing 737-8, just like the air crash in Indonesia in October last year. For a while, Boeing also became the target of verbal criticism. Not only many countries have announced the "no fly order", but Boeing has also encountered an unprecedented crisis of trust.

Boeing's poor performance

Previously, in January this year, Boeing's aircraft delivery target showed that the number of aircraft delivered this year would reach 900. However, judging from the current situation, it may be more difficult for Boeing to achieve this goal. Boeing will face more challenges in the future after orders are all "dead".
