Top 30 regions in national water quality list! What's the water quality of your city? On May 7, authorities gave the latest results. Among the 30 cities with the best water quality in China, 9 cities in Guangxi are on the list, and guests are ranked second.
Since January 2013, the former Ministry of environmental protection has started to publish the air quality ranking of 74 key cities in China, and published the list of the top 10 and the bottom 10 every month. By July 2018, the list has further expanded to the top 20 and bottom 20 of 169 cities in China.
From May 2019, in addition to the "atmospheric ranking", the Ministry of ecological environment will issue a new "water quality ranking", which will rank the water environment quality and changes of surface water assessment sections of cities at prefecture level and above in China, and publish the top 30 and bottom 30 every month.
On May 7, the list was released for the first time. In the first quarter of 2019, Ya'an, Laibin, Yunfu and other 30 cities ranked the best, while Luliang, Yingkou, Xingtai and other 30 cities ranked the last; in terms of changes, Siping, Changchun, Zhongshan and other 30 cities ranked the best, while Luliang, Yingkou, Shuozhou and other 30 cities ranked the last.
Water quality ranking:
It is understood that the cities participating in the 'water quality ranking' are set as all prefecture level and above cities with 'national surface water assessment section'.
The so-called 'national surface water assessment sections' are 2050 national surface water assessment sections set up according to the' 13th five year plan 'national surface water environmental quality monitoring network setting scheme, which are mainly distributed in the seven major river basins of the Yangtze River, Yellow River, Pearl River, Songhua River, Huaihe River, Haihe River, Liaohe River and the main rivers and key lakes and reservoirs in the three major areas of northwest, southwest and Zhejiang Fujian.
In the ranking of water quality, urban groundwater, black and odorous water, and small rivers, lakes or reservoirs without national surface water assessment section are not involved. In terms of specific calculation indexes, the ranking is in accordance with the requirements of technical regulations on ranking of urban surface water environmental quality (Trial Implementation), and adopts 21 indexes except water temperature, fecal coliform and total nitrogen in Table 1 of environmental quality standard for surface water (GB3838-2002), which is consistent with the evaluation and assessment indexes of surface water. In terms of the 'absolute value' of water environment quality, the water quality of rivers in the south is obviously relatively good, with Ya'an in Sichuan, Laibin in Guangxi and Yunfu in Guangdong ranking first, second and third respectively.
