Article 85:

Under any of the following circumstances, the obligee shall apply for the registration of the change of the ownership of the house after the relevant legal documents come into effect or the facts occur:

(1) The name of the owner of the house is changed;

(2) The location of the house is changed;

(3) The area of the house increases or decreases;

(4) The same owner divides or merges the house;

(5) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.

Article 86:

If the ownership of a house is transferred according to law, the following materials shall be submitted to apply for the registration of the transfer of ownership of a house:

(1) Application for registration;

(2) Identification of the applicant;

(3) House ownership certificate;

(4) The certificate of homestead use right or collective owned construction land use right;

(5) Materials proving the transfer of house ownership;

(6) Other necessary materials.

When applying for the registration of the transfer of villagers' housing ownership, the certification materials of the rural collective economic organization's consent to the transfer shall also be submitted.

If a rural collective economic organization applies for the registration of the transfer of house ownership, it shall also submit the supporting materials approved by the villagers' meeting or authorized by the villagers' meeting and approved by the villagers' representative meeting.

Article 87:

If the transferee is not a member of the rural collective economic organization in the place where the house is located when applying for the registration of the transfer of rural villagers' housing ownership, the housing registration institution shall not handle it unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
