Who is not suitable for flying? These nine types of patients are not suitable for flying

If we travel now, if the distance is long, many people will choose to take a plane, which can avoid tiredness due to long time. However, although the plane is fast, there are nine types of patients who are not suitable to take the plane. We must pay attention to the nine types of situation.

Who is not suitable for flying

Patients with cardiovascular disease: Patients with high blood pressure more than 180 mmHg, low pressure more than 130 mmHg; severe heart failure, myocarditis within a month; 30 days of frequent attacks of angina pectoris, serious arrhythmias; cerebrovascular accident within two weeks; myocardial infarction within six weeks, whether there are complications, are not suitable for flying. For patients after cardiac surgery, even short-range flight is not suitable for them within 3 weeks after surgery, because the tension of flight and high altitude hypoxia may increase the cardiac load.

Cerebrovascular disease patients: craniocerebral injury, skull fracture with coma or irregular respiratory rhythm; brain inflammation, tumor, or cerebral hernia surgery within 30 days; cerebral embolism, cerebral hemorrhage, brain tumor, intracranial aneurysm, the above patients are not suitable for flying in theory. Patients with cerebral embolism have to wait at least three weeks before they can fly.

Digestive disease patients: upper gastrointestinal bleeding, acute appendicitis, peptic ulcer patients with deep ulcer surface, and patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, bleeding stopped less than 3 weeks, had better not fly. Patients who have undergone gastrointestinal surgery can generally take a plane more than 10 days after surgery to avoid gastrointestinal rupture caused by high air expansion and gas expansion in the gastrointestinal tract.

What are the people who can't take the plane

Several types of patients after surgery: head surgery, ophthalmic surgery, ENT surgery, gastrointestinal surgery within 15 days; less than 48 hours after thoracic and abdominal surgery; due to encephalitis, tumor, brain hernia surgery, less than 30 days, the above patients had better not fly, in order to avoid pressure changes on the way, making the closed wound tear again and blood vessels bleeding in the operation area.

Severe anemia: high altitude due to the inhalation of oxygen partial pressure decreased, the human tissue is prone to hypoxia. According to the "contraindications to air travel" formulated by the American Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, it is strictly forbidden to fly for patients whose hemoglobin is less than 6 g / dl without close medical supervision.

People suffering from upper respiratory tract infection and some nasal diseases: if they can adjust the balance of pressure inside and outside the nasal sinuses in time, they will feel pain in the nasal sinuses. In patients with upper respiratory tract inflammation, the mucosa around the pharyngeal orifice of the eustachian tube is swollen, the eustachian tube is difficult to open, and the air can not be circulated when the plane rises or falls, which will cause severe pain and damage the middle ear and paranasal sinuses. Patients with severe cold had better prepare some drugs such as nasal pass before flying, such as ephedrine and other vasoconstrictors.

Passengers who are drunk or poisoned by narcotics or other drugs are not suitable to take the plane.

Orthopedic patients: passengers with fracture (plaster fixation, etc.), prosthesis (driven by carbon dioxide gas tube) and paralysis in acute stage are not suitable for taking the plane.

Pregnant women with habitual abortion or premature birth tendency should not fly for a long time. During early pregnancy, abortion is relatively easy, so it is not suitable to take the opportunity. Those who are more than 32 weeks pregnant should not take the opportunity because air travel may lead to premature delivery. It is not suitable to take the opportunity near the due date.
