If the trademark agency is entrusted, the applicant shall pay the transfer fee and agency fee to the trademark agency, and the transfer fee collected by the Trademark Office shall be deducted from the advance payment of the trademark agency.
The differences between trademark transfer and trademark change are as follows:
The transfer of a registered trademark is different from the change of the registered person's name. When the meaning of the registered person's name is changed, the subject of the registered trademark does not change, only the name of the registered person changes. The transfer of a registered trademark is due to the change of its subject, and the owner of the transferred trademark is no longer the original registrant. For example, if the name of a trademark registrant (enterprise) changes, it only needs to go through the registration of change; for the latter, if the trademark registrant (enterprise) turns the partnership into a limited liability company, although its enterprise name and address have not changed, it has essentially changed into a new enterprise legal person, so it should go through the registration procedures of transfer.
After the trademark is transferred, the ownership of the trademark has changed. After the name or address of the company changes, the ownership of the trademark does not change. Trademark change also requires that all trademarks registered by the registrant must be registered together. If a registered trademark is assigned, it can be assigned separately. Unless the trademark to be assigned is similar to other non assigned trademarks and needs to be transferred together, others need not be transferred together.
Matters needing attention in trademark transfer
1. Where a registered trademark is assigned, the trademark registrant shall assign the same or similar trademarks registered on the same or similar goods at the same time.
2. One month after the application for transfer is submitted, the Trademark Office will send the notice of acceptance to the assignee by mail according to the address filled in the application form, and at the same time send a copy of the notice of acceptance to the registrant according to the address of the registrant recorded in the trademark office.
3. If the application for transfer does not comply with the law, the Trademark Office will send a written notice to the applicant to make corrections within a time limit according to the address filled in the application.
4. After the application for transfer is approved, the Trademark Office will send the transfer certificate to the transferee by mail according to the address filled in the application form, and publish an announcement on the transfer of the trademark. The signing date on the certificate shall be the date of announcement, and the assignee shall enjoy the exclusive right to use the trademark from that date.
5. If the application for assignment cannot be approved for any other reason, the Trademark Office shall notify the applicant in writing by post at the address specified in the application.
6. Where the assignee in the application for assignment is jointly owned by more than one person, the relevant notice or certificate of the Trademark Office shall only be sent to the representative. If other co owners need to prove, they shall apply for reissue.
7. If the applicant entrusts the trademark agency to handle the application for transfer, the Trademark Office will not have any correspondence with the applicant directly, and all the correspondence will be sent to the trademark agency.
8. The category of the application shall be filled in according to the international classification approved by the trademark registration certificate.

There are two ways to apply for the transfer of a registered trademark
（1） Entrust a trademark agency recognized by the state to handle the matter;
（2） The applicant shall go directly to the trademark registration hall of the trademark office.
