The Boao Forum for Asia, initiated by 25 Asian countries and Australia, was officially established on February 27, 2001 in Boao Town, the estuary of Wanquan River in Qionghai City, Hainan Province. The 2019 Boao Forum for Asia will be held in Boao, Hainan from March 26 to 29. Let's have a look at the traffic conditions in Hainan?
In order to ensure the safety, smooth and orderly traffic of the security line during the Boao Forum for Asia annual meeting in 2019, the traffic police corps of Hainan Provincial Public Security Department has decided to implement traffic control on some roads in our province from March 25 to 29. The notice is as follows:
1、 Vehicle drivers and pedestrians should consciously abide by road traffic safety laws and regulations, drive in accordance with the law, travel in a civilized way, and avoid guard convoys.
2、 Due to the need of security work, when the traffic police departments implement traffic control on some roads in Haikou, Sanya, Qionghai, Wanning, Ding'an, Lingshui, g98 Island Expressway, national highway 223 and some provincial road sections, the vehicle drivers and pedestrians shall obey the command of the traffic police to ensure the safety and orderly passage of the security convoy. It is strictly forbidden for irrelevant vehicles to follow, interpenetrate and surpass the guard team.
3、 From 9:00 on March 25 to 24:00 on March 29, medium and heavy trucks with a total weight of more than 10 tons and vehicles loaded with inflammable, explosive and highly toxic substances are prohibited from passing through the east section of g98 Island Expressway and Sanya ring road section. Relevant vehicles are requested to bypass National Highway 223, national highway 224, Central Expressway or g98 Island Expressway west section.
Freight vehicles with a total mass of more than 20 tons and a body length of more than 9 meters and semi trailers with two axles or more are not allowed to pass on national highway 223 and some provincial highways when they are fully loaded. Please bypass the west section of g98 ring expressway or national highway 225.
