The entry card is a passport issued by the Taiwan's internal affairs department and the Immigration Department to mainland China and Hong Kong and Macao. Taiwan passport holders do not need to apply for entry permit. Applicants with foreign passports should apply for entry permit unless they apply for visa free. 1、 How to handle:

To enter Taiwan for travel or vacation, you need two permits in hand. One is the Taiwan pass issued by the mainland, and the other is the entry permit issued by Taiwan. You can only enter Taiwan if you have a complete set of certificates. Have a good time in Taiwan. Although the restrictions on application have been relaxed, the procedures are still more troublesome.

(1) Handling of Taiwan Pass:

Take your own documents to the exit and Entry Administration Bureau to handle it. Please refer to the figure below for the specific information of the pass.

In addition, you will be informed within 15 days after you bring your ID. For specific charges and special entry procedures, please refer to the following tips:

1. The pass for mainland residents to and from Taiwan is 30 yuan per card;

2. The "pass for mainland residents to and from Taiwan" is marked with 20 yuan for each item;

3. Valid endorsement of mainland residents to and from Taiwan is 20 yuan per piece and 100 yuan per piece for multiple times.

Processing time limit: 15 working days, urgent delivery within 5 working days.

Management unit: the entry exit administrative organ of the public security organ at or above the county level where the applicant is domicile.

(2) Handling of Taiwan entry permit:

At present, there are 26 Mainland cities that can apply for admission to Taiwan, so it is more convenient to apply. Although the Taiwan entry permit can not be handled by individuals, these institutions generally have branches, which are easy to operate on the Internet. So you don't have to show up to complete the Taiwan entry permit. The procedure is troublesome, but it is not you who are in trouble. The specific mainland cities that can be handled are: Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Jinan, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Suzhou, Wuhan, Ningbo, Qingdao, Zhengzhou and Shenyang.

In addition: cities starting from August 28, 2013: Changchun, Shijiazhuang, Changsha, Kunming, Nanning, Hefei and Quanzhou.

Valid period of visa: 3 months, length of stay: 15 days from the next day of entry.

Processing time of Taiwan entry permit: 3-4 working days (if there are special reasons such as the Taiwan Immigration Department holiday, it should be postponed.)

You can apply for the Taiwan entry permit only after you have obtained the "mainland resident's travel permit to Taiwan". Once again, you can't apply for the entry permit by yourself. You must go through the designated travel agency. The entry permit is valid for three months from the date of issue.

To apply for the Taiwan entry permit, relevant scanned documents should be provided to the agency as required.

2、 Materials required for Taiwan entry permit:

(5) Emergency contact information

1. The mainland emergency contact person must be directly related to the traveler. If the proof of relationship cannot be displayed, the public security organ shall issue the certificate of kinship;

2. Home page and personal page of ID card account book of emergency contact person (positive and negative color scanning)

(6) Financial proof (1 out of 3)

Financial proof must be provided when you are over 20 years old

1. Original certificate of fixed deposit of at least RMB 50000 issued by the bank. The deposit certificate must indicate that it has been frozen for more than 3 months.

2. The company issues annual income certificate, annual salary of more than 130000 yuan, printed on head paper and sealed with official seal.

3. Credit card issued by the bank (the face of the card shows gold card), copies of the front and back sides (color printing, signature on the back).

Note: for those who have applied for an individual travel to Taiwan within the past three years and have no violation of regulations, they need not provide financial proof again (whether they meet the requirements of no financial proof for the second entry to Taiwan shall be subject to the final examination result of the Immigration Department).

(7) -. Certificate of kinship

(1) If the parents / children are in the same company, if the household registration book can reflect the parent-child relationship, please provide the full copy of the household register. (2) If the parents / children are not in the same household register, or the parent-child relationship can not be directly inferred from the household register, the birth certificate and other related documents must be issued (please provide the original). (3) If the husband and wife go together, the original marriage certificate and the full copy of the household register shall be attached (if both parties are not in the same household register, the full copy of the household register of both parties shall be attached).

(8) Application form for personal travel of people in mainland China: the applicant shall fill in the form in black ink and sign in Chinese in the signature column. This form can be completed in simplified Chinese.

(9) . itinerary for mainland people to apply for personal travel in Taiwan: the applicant should fill in the form in black ink. Please fill in the return date, flight information, brief itinerary in Taiwan (the city where you are staying and the sightseeing content must be written clearly), the hotel you stayed in (if not arranged, the name of the hotel and B & B) and the contact person in Taiwan (if any), etc. If you sign up for a private tour in Taiwan, you do not need to provide this item.

(10) If the applicant comes to the same mainland, he / she can only provide a copy of the register of the applicant's direct relatives and grandparents (i.e. the applicant's direct relatives and grandparents from mainland China) can provide a copy of the same parent's and grandparents' register. If a person under the age of 18 travels with his or her lineal relatives by blood, if the traveler does not include any of his or her biological parents, he must attach a letter of authorization from his or her biological parents. Collateral relatives and friends must apply separately and provide their own financial proof and other relevant materials. The applicant should complete the form in black ink. (11) Insurance policy: you must have taken out the travel F.P.A. insurance and provide the insurance policy or supporting documents (electronic insurance policy can be provided). The insurance shall cover medical and aftercare expenses, and the minimum amount of insurance shall not be less than NT $2 million (equivalent to RMB 500000).

Students over the age of 18

Students over the age of 18, but 18-20 years old need their parents to sign a consent form. The 26 Mainland open students who have free access to the city's household registration can apply for free travel to Taiwan. On July 1, 2013, convenience measures were implemented in mainland China. Students studying in 47 open and free travel cities can also apply for Datong pass and g-visa in reading cities. Therefore, they can also apply for free travel in Taiwan. It must be a full-time school, including full-time Master's degree.

Children under 18

Minors under the age of 18 are not allowed to apply for individual travel in Taiwan alone. They must be accompanied by their immediate family members. If it is common with parents, if the household register can reflect the parent relationship with peers, only a copy of the whole household register is required; if the household register cannot reflect the parent relationship with peers, birth certificate or kinship certificate shall be provided.
