1. Jilin province increased basic pension by the largest amount in 11 provinces
The minimum standard of basic pension insurance for urban and rural residents in the autonomous region will be raised from 108 yuan per month to 116 yuan per person per month, an increase of 8 yuan or 7.41%.
The basic pension standard of basic endowment insurance for urban and rural residents in the province has been raised from 93 yuan per person per month to 100 yuan per person per month.
At the beginning of January 2019, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Tibet, Henan, Qinghai and Ningxia also increased the basic pension for urban and rural residents.
2. It is expected that more benefits will be gained from appropriate inclinations of the two categories of people
According to the "opinions" issued by the Ministry of human resources, social security and the Ministry of finance last year, the local government should raise the standard of basic pension according to the local actual situation, and give appropriate preferential treatment to the urban and rural elderly residents aged 65 and above; for those who have long-term payment and exceed the minimum payment period, they should be given additional fixed-term basic pension.
In other words, the basic pension of urban and rural elderly residents aged 65 and above, as well as those who have paid for more than 15 years, is expected to increase their basic pension.
At present, some provinces have implemented this new policy.
Qinghai Provincial Department of human resources and social security released that, from January 1, 2019, the basic pension standards of some insured groups will also be increased. The government will increase the basic pension by 5 yuan per person per month for those aged 65 years or above, and the amount will reach 180 yuan. For those who have paid for more than 15 years, an additional 10 yuan will be paid each month for each additional year of payment.
For another example, Ningxia human resources and social security department proposed to appropriately increase the basic pension for urban and rural elderly residents aged 65 and above.
For those over 65 but less than 70, an increase of 2 yuan per person per month; for those over 70 years old but less than 75 years old, an increase of 4 yuan per person per month; for those over 75 years old but less than 80 years old, an increase of 6 yuan per person per month; for those over 80 years old and above, an increase of 8 yuan per person per month.
For those who have paid for more than 15 years, the basic pension will be increased by no less than 2 yuan per month for each additional year.
