What about the yellow leaves of bamboo? These moves let you suit the case!

Bamboo is a symbol of eternity and purity. It has a unique shape and is very easy to maintain. Many office halls, homes and meeting rooms will have a basin of bamboo. But we often find that the leaves of bamboo have turned yellow. There are many reasons for the yellow leaves. If the cultivation is not proper, it is likely that this basin of bamboo won't survive. What about the yellow leaves of bamboo ? Here is a summary of some methods. Let's see which method suits you according to your own situation!

The cultivation environment of bamboo can't be the place where the sun directly shines. Bamboo belongs to the plant that likes half shade and half sun. Under the direct sun exposure, the leaf cells in bamboo will be stimulated, and the chloroplast will be damaged to make the leaves and flowers yellow. So we should move the bamboo to a place away from light, but not too dark. And always spray water on the leaves.

The reason why most of the bamboo leaves turn yellow is that they are not watered properly. They like to be wet. But if they are watered more, they will become waterlogged. If they are rotten, they will turn yellow. If they are watered less, they will turn yellow again. So the right way is to water when it's dry, but don't leave any water; the soil should be sandy soil with air permeability and water seepage; when it's hot in summer, spray water to branches and leaves and nearby for many times every day to improve air humidity and prevent excessive evaporation of water from leaves.

Wenzhu not only likes to be wet, but also warm. Therefore, if the temperature of the room is low or there is no sunlight for a long time, the branches and leaves will decrease the metabolism speed due to the cold and turn yellow. The best temperature is 8-12 ℃. In winter, it should be placed indoors in a sunny and warm place. In summer, it can be properly diffused and weakly illuminated to avoid exposure to the sun. At the same time, water supply should be controlled.

Another common cause of yellowness is improper fertilization. If too much fertilizer is applied or non rotten fertilizer is used, the root will be damaged, the seedlings will be burned, and the leaves will turn yellow and wither; if too little fertilizer is applied, the nutrients in the soil will not be absorbed by the bamboo, and the leaves will turn yellow and fall off due to malnutrition. If it is due to improper fertilization, it is necessary to adjust the concentration of fertilizer solution properly or change soil immediately.
