Rose and rose are both Rosaceae plants. They are very similar in flower type and color, which is easy to be confused. So what's the difference between rose and rose? What's the simple way to identify it?
1. The difference between leaves
Rose leaf: sunken and wrinkled, lusterless;
Rose leaf: the leaf surface is flat and glossy.
(1) The leaves of Chinese rose are composed of 3-5 leaflets, which are feathery compound leaves with no hair on both sides. The surface is green, flat, smooth, wrinkle free and glossy;
(2) Rose is composed of 7-9 leaflets. The surface is green, glabrous and lusterless. The veins are sunken and shrunk. The back is slightly white and fluffy.
2. The difference between thorns
Rose thorn: hard dense, thin;
Rose thorn: sparse, flat.
There are about three or four thorns in each node, while the thorns on the stems of roses are dense.
3. The difference between flowers
Rose: petals open in one plane;
Rose: petals are not in one plane.
(1) The flowers of the rose are larger than the rose, and the colors are various. Generally, the flowers are single on the top, and there are several clusters, generally 1-3, with a flower diameter of more than 5cm and a long stalk;
(2) The roses are small and usually pink. Single or 1-3 clusters, short petioles, similar stems to Rosa.
4. Difference of florescence
Rose: once a year;
Rose thorn: four seasons of the year.
Rose is also called Rose, rose and Changchun flower. Rose flowers bloom all the year round and never fail. Roses usually bloom only once in summer.
5. The difference of fruit
The fruit of rose and rose is a round sphere, and rose is a flat round fruit.
6. The difference of fragrance
The so-called "sending roses to others, leaving fragrance in hands" is true at all. The fragrance of rose is much stronger than that of rose. Grown roses are usually used to extract essence and so on, and what we see on the street is almost all roses.
