2. Living habits

Hamsters often live in grasslands and semi deserts, desert areas or mountains. They live in caves, sleep during the day and move at night. 3. Feed for hamsters

Rat and mouse are very easy to raise small animals. Their feed can be bought ready-made in flower and bird market. The main formula is: Hemp with shell, millet (where birds are sold in flower and bird market), then corn flakes, buckwheat, oatmeal can be bought in supermarket. 4. Hamster cage

The imported cage of plexiglass is recommended with good ventilation effect. There are many plexiglass cages with different prices on the market. It is suggested not to buy too large and complex ones, which is inconvenient for cleaning and sanitation. Secondly, do not buy cages with wire all around. In winter, rats will be cold and ventilated on both sides. In winter, as long as cardboard is used to cover one side, rats will be very warm!

5. Precautions for raising hamster in winter and summer

Summer: hamsters are very afraid of heat, so when summer comes, they should keep the indoor air circulating. Some people like to use air conditioner, so they should pay attention to avoid excessive temperature difference. In addition, they'd better not take hamsters out in summer. If there is a need, they can use some cold insulation equipment. Winter: hamster is not very cold resistant. Generally speaking, when the temperature is lower than 10 ℃, hamster will have a similar situation of hibernation. Once hamster has this situation, its life will be reduced after waking up. So once it is necessary to keep warm, it is better to lay more cloth and warm equipment in the warehouse.

6. Environment for raising hamsters

Avoid direct sunlight. Unlike many animals, hamsters can't be directly exposed to the sun. If they are exposed to the sun for a long time, they are prone to be abnormal. To avoid being directly blown by the wind, some people think that animals should be placed in the place directly blown by the wind, but hamsters can't, but also pay attention to the ventilation to ensure the normal convection of the air.
