How to raise a chinchilla? What are the precautions for keeping a chinchilla

It feels good to touch. It doesn't need to be called or walked. It's basically locked in a cage. It's OK to let it out and play every day. You are responsible for protecting your own wires, shoes and so on. It's not recommended to take it outdoors, it will be frightened by other animals, and it's easy to lose it. It's said that the cat only recognizes one owner in its life. Therefore, it is suggested that chinchillas should be weaned for 2 months to cultivate feelings with their owners. How to raise a chinchilla? What should we pay attention to?

1) Chinchillas can't eat any new vegetables and fruits. The only food that can be given to them is apples. Foods with high water content are easy to form diarrhea.

2) Longmao can't eat peanuts and soybeans either. Peanuts contain too much oil. When soybeans enter the abdomen to receive water, they will contract and cause discomfort to the longcat, and may even cause intestinal obstruction.

3) We need to discard the leftover feed and hay, which are usually left over by chinchillas. We need to trust their choices because they feel that they have no nutrients.

4) Alfalfa is one of the important components of the feed for chinchillas. Large quantities of alfalfa can quickly fatten chinchillas. But it should not make the chinchillas too fat. Alfalfa should be used as the nutrient grass to help them. As usual, it can be given twice a week, but the chinchillas just arrived at home can give more, because the nutrients provided by large-scale farms are often not completely satisfied with the need for their growth and development. Other hay, such as oats, wheat and barley, can be used to help regulate the stomachs of chinchillas. Remember that a chinchilla can't eat new grass, and can't pull some weeds to feed it at will!

5) The cage should be placed in a cool place with smooth atmosphere, but not in the tuyere. If the cage is constantly blown indirectly by the wind, it will catch cold.

6) Summer is the season of longcat's melancholy. Because of its thick fur, it's better to turn on the air conditioner at home to cool down the indoor temperature when the hot weather is like sultry.

Chinchillas are very cute pets, and they are very simple to raise. They know when they are hungry, they will find their own food, and they will not eat when they are full. We don't need to worry about their food!

The chinchilla itself has no taste, only the urine is a little shy and smelly, so it has to be cleaned frequently. In summer, it has to be more diligent. In summer, when the air humidity is high, it has to take a bath frequently. Otherwise, it will feel uncomfortable, tickle or even bite the hair. In winter, you can take a bath in three days or so! The bath of a chinchilla uses special sand and volcanic ash instead of water! Like a hamster, a chinchilla takes a bath with special sand instead of water.

Generally speaking, it's not difficult to raise a chinchilla. It doesn't need the company of human beings. It's good to feed it regularly, bathe it regularly with special cat litter, and then watch it vigorously flutter in the cat litter. I think the most lovely thing is that it likes to sell cute to others, and it's a no bottom line selling cute. If it has to have some shortcomings, it's easy to dump and shed its fur. If it can accept these two things Point, I think it's good to have a chinchilla. I hope you will become a concern for each other.
