If living crabs want to be preserved until the next night, they must pay attention to the preservation methods.

1. Put it in a box or basin and spray water regularly

The vitality of hairy crabs is very strong. As long as the room temperature is between 15-25 ℃, they can be stored indoors. Put hairy crabs in a spacious box or basin. Spray them with water regularly to ensure the humidity of their environment. This kind of crabs can survive for 3-5 days.

2. Put water in the bathtub for living

If you buy too many hairy crabs, you can also live in the bathtub. The bathtub is smooth around, which can ensure that hairy crabs will not escape from prison. Put a proper amount of water in the bathtub (less than 1-3cm thick), to ensure the humidity of hairy crabs, and then put some small fish, loach, live shrimp, etc. as their food, which can be raised for 5-10 days, and can be caught at any time.

Tips: hairy crabs raised at room temperature should not be washed in advance, which will cause great damage to hairy crabs and lead to a large number of deaths.

3. Plastic bucket / basin water for living

Prepare a 30-50 cm high plastic bucket / basin. The inner wall of the plastic bucket / basin is smooth and hard to escape. Put the hairy crabs in it, do not stack them; then add water to half of the height of the hairy crabs' body for moisturizing. Do not bury all the hairy crabs. If the water is too deep, the crabs will die of suffocation due to lack of oxygen. Do not cover the bucket / basin, check the crabs every day, and eat the crabs with insufficient vitality in time. Use this method to save the crabs. When the temperature is not high, the crabs can be preserved for more than 5 days.

Note: no matter which way, it's better to tie up the crab's feet, so as to reduce the crab's physical consumption, and the crab is not so easy to kill himself. In addition, if the hairy crab is too thin or wants to be stored and raised, you can feed the hairy crab some sesame seeds or broken eggs and add some rice wine to make it fatter.

Crabs need water to live, but they can't soak in water. Can live crabs be refrigerated

Preservation of crabs

Preservation method 1: store crabs in refrigerator

Then put them in the refrigerator freezer, keep the temperature at 5-10 degrees and cover them with wet towels. When eating every day, choose the one with insufficient vitality first, and the crab with sufficient vitality can continue to be preserved.

Because the bathtub walls are smooth and crabs can't escape, gently pour the crabs into the bathtub, fill the water just enough to bury the crabs, so that the crabs can stand up and breathe on the water, According to the storage time and quantity, a small amount of small fish and shrimps are put in. The crab stored in Yangcheng Lake can last for more than 7 days or longer, and the survival rate of the crab with good quality can reach more than 95%. In addition, check the crabs every day, and eat the crabs with insufficient vitality in time.

Do not eat for a long time. The stored cooked crabs are easy to be contaminated by bacteria. Therefore, the crabs should be eaten now instead of being stored.
