1、 What is the minimum birth insurance in Shanghai

Shanghai's maternity insurance benefits are divided into two parts:

One is the subsidy for medical expenses for childbirth. If the child is born more than 7 months pregnant or born prematurely less than 7 months pregnant, the subsidy for medical expenses for childbirth is 3000 yuan. In case of spontaneous abortion for more than 3 months (including 3 months) and less than 7 months, the subsidy for maternity medical expenses is 500 yuan. In case of spontaneous abortion or ectopic pregnancy within 3 months of pregnancy, the subsidy for medical expenses for childbirth shall be 300 yuan.

Second, the maternity living allowance is calculated and paid according to the average monthly wage of the employees of the employing unit in the previous year divided by 30 days and multiplied by the days of maternity leave to be enjoyed. The required funds are paid by the maternity insurance fund of the city.

(1) The standard of monthly birth and living allowance for working women shall be the average monthly wage of the employees of the employer in the previous year in the month of production or abortion. If the average monthly wage of the employees of the employer in the previous year is higher than 300% of the average monthly wage of the employees of the whole city in the previous year, it shall be calculated and paid at 300%; if it is lower than 60% of the average monthly wage of the employees of the whole city in the previous year, it shall be calculated and paid at 60%; However, if it is lower than the minimum standard of maternity living allowance stipulated by the human resources and Social Security Bureau, the minimum standard is 2892 yuan / month.

(2) If the average monthly wage of the employees of the employer in the previous year is higher than 300% of the average monthly wage of the employees of the city in the previous year, the employer shall make up the difference for the higher part.

(3) If a working woman changes her work unit within 12 months prior to her production or abortion, her monthly birth and living allowance shall be calculated and paid according to the weighted average of the average monthly wages of the employees of the previous year of each employing unit working within 12 months prior to her production or abortion.
