1. Use the old number. If you discard the old card number and apply for a new card directly, the card number will change. Of course, the money from the old card will be transferred to the new card. 2. Reopen the new number. If a new card is required but the card number remains the same, you need to wait 7 working days. Before applying for a new card, you must first report the loss, and then release the card after 7 days. Only after releasing the card, you can apply for a new card. In other words, if you want to replace the lost card but want to keep the original card number, you need to go to the bank again after reporting the loss for the past 7 working days.
