1、 Application conditions and acceptance Department
1. The application of mainland residents for traveling to Taiwan (including group tourism and individual tourism), visiting relatives, staying, settling down, studying, visiting friends, accepting and handling property, handling weddings and funerals and other private affairs shall be accepted by the entry and exit administration department of the public security organ of the county or county-level City (District) where the permanent residence is located. Applications for economic and trade exchanges in Taiwan shall be accepted by the entry and exit administration department of the public security organ of the county or county-level city (District) where the permanent residence is located. The entry and exit administration departments of the public security organs directly under the central government and at the prefecture (city) level may directly accept the applications of permanent residents in their respective jurisdictions to and from Taiwan.
2. If a mainland resident applies to be invited to Taiwan for economic, technological, cultural, sports, academic and other activities, or to attend a conference, or to carry out the task of direct navigation across the Taiwan Strait, the application shall be accepted by the entry and exit administration department of the public security organ of the Municipality directly under the central government or prefecture level city where the permanent residence is located. If the place of work and the place of permanent residence are not under the jurisdiction of the same municipal public security organ, the exit Entry Administration Department of the public security organ of the place of work may also accept the application.
3. Chinese citizens residing abroad who apply to go to Taiwan after coming to the mainland shall be accepted by the exit Entry Administration Department of the public security organ in the place of temporary residence.
2、 Application materials
1. Submit the application form of Chinese citizen's exit and entry certificate (with the color photo of the applicant's front bareheaded).
2. Submit the original of valid ID card (except those under the age of 16) and household register, and submit the copy; if the holder of valid pass for mainland residents to and from Taiwan, submit pass for mainland residents to and from Taiwan. 3. Submit valid entry permit certificate or relevant certificate confirmed to be able to enter Taiwan, and submit copies (except for group tour and individual tour to Taiwan).
4. For a state functionary who is registered and put on record, he / she shall submit a certificate issued by his / her subordinate work unit or superior competent unit after examination and approval in accordance with the authority of personnel management approving the handling of exit and entry certificates. Personnel who hold the "approval documents for going to Taiwan" issued by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council apply to go to Taiwan without submitting the opinions of their work units.
5. Submit other supporting materials related to the application cause
(1) Invited to Taiwan: ① submit the original "approval document for going to Taiwan" issued by the Taiwan Affairs Office, or the copy sealed and confirmed by the Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office. ② If the applicant applies at the place of work, he / she shall submit the work certificate, the original of temporary residence permit and the copy. ③ It can be applied for by the organizer, or it can be centralized by the organizer. (5) Study in Taiwan: the full-time college students submit the admission notice of Taiwan institutions of higher learning, the original and copy of the study certificate issued by the Taiwan office.

1. Mainland residents under the age of 16 or over 70 may entrust an agent (the agent must submit an ID card).
