When does Pu'er tea come into being

Pu'er tea is a kind of typical post fermentation tea. Under artificial conditions, Pu'er tea can accelerate its transformation through high temperature, humidity and heat, so as to achieve the effect of rapid realization of good taste. The early processing of ripe tea is generally considered to be in the early 1970s, because of the early popularity of modern Pu'er tea in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and later to the mainland, mainly concentrated in Guangdong.

Later, with the continuous expansion of market demand, the traditional production of raw Pu'er tea has been unable to meet the demand of market consumption. In order to speed up the production of Pu'er tea, some people in Guangdong began to use wodui method to make Pu'er tea, but at the beginning, it was not recognized by most people, which was considered to be a fake. However, with the spread of this kind of tea, it is found that the tea produced in this way can achieve good results in taste, soup color and aroma, and it is gradually accepted.

But this period of tea can only be a kind of "underground" tea, until 1973, Yunnan Tea Import and Export Company Kunming tea factory began to process, so that Pu'er tea can be named. Later, it was further developed by Menghai tea factory. The representative tea products in the mature tea mainly include palace Pu'er, super Pu'er, 421, 79562, etc. Famous brands are: 'China tea brand' trademark of China National Tea Corporation.

Pu'er tea adopts the fermentation technology of "wodui", which was tried again in 1973. In 1975, the artificial wodui technology was successfully trial produced in Kunming tea factory, which opened a new chapter in the production of Pu'er tea. The reason for the development of artificial fermentation technology is to solve the problem that the fermentation time of Pu'er tea is too long (often more than ten decades), so artificial imitation of the natural fermentation process to achieve the purpose of rapid aging of Pu'er tea. Since then, Pu'er tea has been continuously recognized by people, and Pu'er tea also occupies half of the country.
