The results of ten climate events show that as of December 27, the temperature of the whole province is significantly higher, the annual average temperature of the whole province is 15.8 ℃, 1.0 ℃ higher than that of the whole year; the average precipitation is 737.4 mm, close to the same period of the whole year; the average sunshine hours are 1990.9 hours, 10.3 hours higher than that of the whole year.
1. Severe flood disaster caused by typhoon 'wenbia' attacking the east of Henan Province
On August 17-19, affected by the Typhoon Depression weakened after the landing of typhoon 'wenbia', the strongest precipitation process occurred in the flood season of this year in our province. There was a large-scale rainstorm in the east of Beijing Guangzhou line, and there was a heavy rainstorm in Shangqiu and Zhoukou areas. The daily precipitation of eight national meteorological stations exceeded the historical extreme since the establishment of the station, of which 355.2mm in Xiayi station was more than twice the historical extreme, 363.6million in Shangqiu station M is close to the annual average value of total precipitation in flood season. Affected by it, serious urban and rural waterlogging occurred in Shangqiu, Zhoukou and other places. The speed limit operation in Shangqiu of Beijing Jiulong Railway and Longhai railway was limited. Some cities suffered short-term power interruption, train delay, flight delay or cancellation.
2. In the first ten days of January, the cold wave and blizzard hit strongly, and the snow broke through the extreme in multiple stations
On January 3-5, Blizzard weather of more than 10 mm occurred in most areas of the province, and blizzard of more than 20 mm occurred in most areas of central and southern China, including over 30 mm blizzard in Xinyang, Zhumadian and some counties and cities of Nanyang. There were 12 stations in the province with daily snowfall breaking through the extreme value of the same period in January since the establishment of the station. The snow depth in the south of Henan is more than 20 cm, and the maximum of Jigong Mountain is 41 cm. The snowfall has great impact and harm on transportation, residents' life, industrial production, facility agriculture, etc., but it is very beneficial to purify air quality, reduce forest fire protection level, supplement reservoir water storage, increase soil moisture, and reduce pests and diseases.
3. Frost damage caused by late frost and cold in late April
On April 3-7, there was a wide range of cold wave and gale weather in the whole province. From April 3, the temperature of the whole province decreased rapidly from north to south. On April 4, the highest temperature in the middle of the North decreased by 20-28 ℃ compared with that in the second day. The highest temperature in most parts of the whole province fell below 10 ℃, and the lowest temperature along the Yellow River and its north decreased by 10-17 ℃, while in other areas, it was 6-10 ℃, with 52 stations appearing cold wave. On March 3 and June, the temperature in the whole province dropped by about 7-8 degrees Northerly wind, gust 9-10 in the middle of the north. A total of 23 stations in the north of Henan Province and some parts of the central and western regions have mild late frost, and the whole province has cold in late spring. The disaster caused the winter wheat, vegetables, fruit trees, etc. which were in heading stage to suffer from frost damage, which had a great impact on the growth of crops.
4. High temperature days in summer last a long time
This summer, the average number of high temperature days in the province is 25.7 days, 13.6 days more than the same period of the whole year, the fifth since 1961. On July 15-26, the strongest regional high temperature weather process occurred in our province this year. The average high temperature days in the province are 9.5 days, 107 counties (cities) have more than 5 days of high temperature days, of which 60 counties (cities) have 10-12 days, mainly distributed in parts of the East, North and south of Henan; 23 counties have reached or exceeded the historical extreme since the station was built. On July 25, the high temperature coverage and intensity were the largest, with the average maximum temperature of 38.0 ℃, 117 stations (96% of the total stations) with daily maximum temperature above 35 ℃, 102 stations (84% of the total stations) with daily maximum temperature above 37 ℃, and the maximum temperature of Jiaozuo was 40.2 ℃.
In May and June, the precipitation in many places broke through the extreme value in the same period of history
From June 18 to 19, there was a large-scale precipitation process along the Yellow River and in the south of the province. The process precipitation in Zhoukou Zhumadian Nanyang area was more than 100 mm, partially more than 150 mm. The daily precipitation of Xixia, Xichuan and Xiping stations in Nanyang exceeded the extreme value of the same period in June. From June 25 to 26, there was a large-scale precipitation process along and to the north of the Yellow River in our province. The process precipitation in most areas was more than 50 mm, and that in parts of Northern Henan was more than 100 mm. The daily precipitation of Qixian and Qinyang stations exceeded the extreme value of the same period in June. Jiaozuo City one hour precipitation of 58 mm, causing urban waterlogging.
In June and April, there were many rare rainstorms
In the middle and late April, there were two rainstorm weather processes in Shangqiu, Zhoukou, Luohe and Nanyang, respectively, from April 11 to 13, with heavy rainstorms in some areas, and in Nanyang; from April 20 to 22, with heavy rainstorms in the north of the Yellow River and in Luoyang, Pingdingshan, Nanyang and Xinyang. The daily precipitation of Dengzhou, Ruyang and Linzhou stations breaks through the historical extreme value in the same period since the station was built, especially in 8 counties (cities) including Linzhou, Taiqian, Ruyang, Huaxian, Yongcheng, Zhecheng, Luohe and Dengzhou. During the 60 years from the station's construction to 2017, the number of rainstorms in April is only 1-5, so the rainstorms in these 8 counties (cities) in April this year are relatively rare.
In the middle of May, heavy rainfall led to many floods
On May 15-20, there was a large-scale heavy rainfall process in the whole province. The precipitation in the southwest, the East and the north of Henan was over 100 mm, and the average precipitation in Nanyang city was 115.3 mm. There were 22 counties (cities) in the whole province with heavy rainfall, and Huaibin and Nanyang counties (cities) with heavy rainfall. The daily precipitation in fan County, Xingyang, Neixiang, Zhenping and Nanyang counties (cities) broke through the historical pole of the same period in May Value. Heavy rain and strong wind caused many urban waterlogging, and the traffic in the city was seriously affected, and the maturing winter wheat fell.
8. In autumn and winter, there is a large range of haze in our province for nearly 10 days
From November 24 to December 3, there was the longest severe haze weather in the whole year in our province. From November 27 to 29, there was heavy fog in the east of Beijing Guangzhou line, and in most of the six areas of Shangqiu, Zhoukou, Kaifeng, Luohe, Xuchang and Zhumadian, there was strong fog with visibility less than 200m. In some areas, there was very strong fog with visibility less than 50m. The air pollution in the north and the Middle East of our province is serious. The number of days of heavy pollution and above is 7-9 days, and serious pollution occurs for 1-2 days. On November 28, the air quality index of Zhengzhou, the capital of our province, reached 420, which is the highest in 18 cities under the jurisdiction of our province.
At the beginning of September 12, the continuous low temperature process appeared in our province
From December 4 to 10, there was a continuous low temperature process in our province. This low temperature process has the characteristics of large cooling range, wide range, long duration, strong extremes, accompanied by rain and snow. The continuous cooling range of the lowest temperature is between 8.6-15.4 ℃. Except for the southwest of Henan, the cooling range of 95 counties (cities) in the whole province is above 10 ℃, especially along the Yellow River and most parts of the north and east of Henan. Cooling is accompanied by rain and snow, which can effectively improve soil moisture. The low temperature process effectively improved the air quality and relieved the heavy pollution weather process that lasted for 10 days in the early stage; the low temperature can also reduce the overwintering base of all kinds of diseases and insect pests, reduce the harm of diseases and insect pests in the next spring, but have a certain adverse impact on the facility agricultural production; the low temperature process makes the human body feel extremely cold, and has a certain impact on production and life.
10. Strong wind in mid March
On March 15-16, there were strong wind and cold wave weather in the whole province, and the maximum wind speed of each station was more than 10 m / s,
Along the Yellow River and to the north of it, the maximum instantaneous wind speed of Xinxiang is more than 20 m / s, and 24 stations reach the cold wave standard, mainly distributed in the north of Huaihe River and the east of Beijing Guangzhou line. Affected by this, there are 40 stations in the province with cold in late spring and 42 stations with light to moderate frost in late spring. In some areas, the strong wind caused different degrees of damage to crops and vegetable greenhouses, solar panels, power transmission lines and other facilities.
