If there is no sound in the computer, please check whether there is a sound control icon in the taskbar on the lower right foot of the computer desktop, as shown in the following figure:
As shown in the figure above, there is no problem with the sound card installed on the computer. Click the sound control icon with the left mouse button, and the sound volume adjustment switch control window will appear. Check whether the volume is adjusted to the lowest or the mute is checked.
If you can't find the volume speaker control icon on the desktop of the computer, it may be a driver problem. Some of them are not displayed, and the way to display them is as follows: if there is no 'small speaker' on the right side of the taskbar, enter the start & rarr; settings & rarr; control panel - sound and audio devices' command, and open the 'sound and audio device properties' dialog box, as shown below:
As shown in the above figure, put the volume icon into the taskbar, tick & Radio; and then click to confirm whether the small horn icon appears in the right corner of the computer. Generally, it can be solved.
2： Check for hardware problems
Check whether the headphones and speakers of the computer are well connected or damaged,
Also note that most desktop computers have two audio connectors, one in front of the chassis and the other behind the chassis, so if the former does not work, try the latter. Some computer installers may forget to connect the signal cable on the front of the host to the motherboard. I often see things like this happen.
3： Check sound card
In the past, it was often encountered that the computer did not have sound after the computer system was reinstalled, which was mostly caused by the sound card driver of the computer was not installed or incompatible. The solution is to find the driver corresponding to the sound card of the computer and install it. How to find out if the sound card driver is not installed properly? We can enter my computer - right click - Select - properties - hardware - Device Manager as shown in the following figure:
Click device manager to enter the following computer hardware driver view, as shown below.
If there is an exclamation mark in the sound card driver, it means that the hardware driver in the current system does not meet the computer driver. The solution can be to replace the system. Of course, it is not necessary to find the sound card model of the computer, just find the driver installation.
