Step 1: apply
(1) Online booking
Reservation on the official website: pre application can be made by logging into the local public security bureau's "entry exit administration website"
WeChat Reservation: through WeChat mobile phone, local public security bureau WeChat official account is pre applied.
Mobile app appointment: download the app designated by local public security bureau through mobile phone for pre application
Most cities have opened official website reservation application, but wechat reservation and mobile app reservation are only available in some cities
(2) On site handling: directly go to the reception hall window and line up for handling
Step 2: fill in the application form
Fill in the application form for Chinese citizen's exit and entry certificate
(1) Get the application form on site (some cities can use self-service filling machine to print it with ID card)
(2) Download and fill in in the local "Public Security Bureau Network" in advance
Step 3: take photos on site or bring your own
You can choose a photo studio that meets the requirements to take photos and get a photo receipt (to be submitted when applying)
Qualified photo studio information is publicized on the "Public Security Bureau Network" of all places
Step 4: fingerprint collection
(1) Applicants over 16 years old (inclusive): need to collect or verify fingerprints (except those unable to collect fingerprints due to missing or damaged fingerprints)
(2) Applicants under the age of 16: determine whether to collect fingerprints according to the opinions of their guardians
Step 5: collect the collected payment
Receive the receipt of application for acceptance of Chinese citizen's exit and entry certificate, sign and pay after confirmation
