Why only Chinese people send apples? The history of Christmas Eve and China?

Christmas is coming this year. When it comes to Christmas, the first thing we should mention is Christmas Eve. The name "Christmas Eve" has a strong Chinese flavor. It is translated from "silent night". Christmas Eve was not called "silent night" at first, but simply called Christmas Eve. Until 1818, musician Franz gurub composed the short poem silent night into a Christmas song. Because of its flat and elegant tune, it brought warmth and tranquility to people suffering from war, and then it was widely spread. Over time, 'silent night' replaced 'Christmas Eve'. After silent night was introduced into China, in the process of transliteration, people didn't take its original meaning of silence, but deliberately integrated it with Chinese traditional culture, giving it a very Chinese name -- Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve, a Christian festival, has lost the soil suitable for the survival of the original culture since it was introduced into China. Because of the strong integration and uniqueness of Chinese culture, this Christian festival has been changed by Chinese traditional culture over and over again. Pingan fruit is one of the products of Sinochem. Because Chinese people pay attention to homophony, like to use homophony to get a good head. For example, in the traditional Chinese marriage custom, people sprinkle dates, peanuts, osmanthus and chestnuts on the bed of the newly married couple, hoping that the new couple can have (peanut) GUI (osmanthus) Zi (Chestnuts) as early as possible. Ping'an fruit was born in this way. Apple's' Apple 'and Ping'an's' ping' are homonymous, so people formed the custom of giving Ping'an fruit to each other on Christmas Eve by virtue of Apple's meaning of peace. In fact, except for China, other countries have no habit of delivering 'Pingan fruit'.

On Christmas Eve, in addition to sending each other the fruits of peace, most of the Chinese people are about 35 friends chatting, gathering and entertaining. But in western countries, people are very busy this day. They have to prepare for the coming Christmas. Every family is busy cleaning, baking food, arranging Christmas trees, making Christmas presents, etc. Although Christmas Eve has settled down in China, its cultural connotation has been influenced by Chinese culture, and it has completely become a product of Sinochem. To exaggerate, we may have had a 'fake' Christmas Eve. However, as a foreign festival, Christmas Eve has been accepted by young people and businesses, and has become a festival as important as Chinese festivals.
