Matters needing attention
1. New: all public security police stations shall examine and verify the application materials of dog registration within 10 working days. If the conditions are met, the registration shall be granted; if the conditions are not met, the registration shall not be granted and the reasons shall be explained.
2. According to the application for change: if the residence of the dog owner is changed, the dog owner shall, within 15 days from the date of change, go through the change procedures at the local police station of the current residence with the dog registration certificate.
3. Supplementary certificate: if the dog registration certificate and dog license are damaged or lost, the dog owner can apply for reissue at the certificate office. If the dog's electronic identification is damaged or lost, the dog owner can apply for replantation at the implantation site.
4. According to the application for cancellation: in case of any of the following circumstances, the dog owner shall go through the cancellation procedures at the original certification institution with the dog registration certificate:
(1) If a raised dog is dead or missing, the matter shall be handled within 15 days from the date of death or missing of the dog;
(2) If a dog is abandoned, the matter shall be handled within 15 days from the date it is delivered to another person for breeding or to a dog shelter.
If the period of validity of dog immunization has expired, and the dog keeper fails to deliver the dog to the place designated by the competent veterinary department for rabies vaccination, the public security department shall cancel the dog registration certificate.
