Don't make mistakes in buying down jackets in winter

When buying down clothes, we always hesitate. Which one is more warm and which is more comfortable? In fact, when we buy down clothes, we often make some mistakes. Today, Xiaobian will check the common mistakes in selecting down clothes?

What are the mistakes in choosing down jacket in winter?

Misunderstanding 1

The higher the cashmere content, the better. More than 50% of the down content can be called down clothing, but it should be decided by the consumers' own wearing conditions and wearing environment. For example, it is suitable to wear down clothing with down content of 70% - 80% in Beijing. Compared with the same kind of down with down content of 80% - 90%, the thermal insulation performance can be said to be similar.

Misunderstanding two

The more filling, the better. The amount of down filling depends on the total area of a down jacket. A long down jacket may have a little more down filling, while a short one may have a little less down filling. That's not to say that more down filling is better.

Misunderstanding three

The softer you feel, the better if you can't touch a little stem. Down is a natural thing. It is normal to have a certain size and a certain limit of small hair stalks and pieces. If it's all soft to the touch, maybe it's other fillers instead of down. In addition, after patting down products, it is normal that there are small down threads coming out of the needle hole.

Misunderstanding four

White duck down is warmer than grey duck down. Generally, down can be divided into two colors, one is white and the other is gray. White duck down is used as the main filling material of light color fabric, and grey duck down is used as the main down clothing of dark color fabric. There is no saying that white duck down is warmer than grey duck down.

Misunderstanding five

Use signs to induce consumers. Some down products have 100% duck down written on their labels. Normally speaking, for a down garment, its label should have the factory name, address, color, execution number, national standard, what is the filler and how much down it contains. If this down jacket has 90% down content, it's OK to write 90% down in the down content column. It's possible to write 10% down, flying silk, etc. in the back, but it can't be said that 100% down, which is cheating consumers.

Matters needing attention

Experts remind consumers that there are four main steps in selecting down jackets.

First look: whether there are registered trademarks, product instructions, and pay attention to the appearance and sewing quality of the product;

Second touch: whether the hand feels soft and has a complete small piece of hair;

Three press: whether it is both fluffy and resilient;

Four smell: whether there is no smell or peculiar smell.
