Maximum circulation of 1 kg silver coin 3000 pieces

It is understood that the 50g round gold commemorative coins for the 70th anniversary of RMB issuance have a diameter of 20 mm, a denomination of 80 yuan, a color of 99.9%, and a maximum circulation of 30000 pieces.

The 1kg round silver commemorative coin is a refined coin with a diameter of 100mm, a denomination of 300 yuan, a color of 99.9%, and a maximum circulation of 3000 pieces. 15g round silver commemorative coins are refined coins, including 15g pure silver, 33mm in diameter, 5 yuan in denomination, 99.9% in color, with a maximum circulation of 60000 pieces.

How do Beijing citizens buy commemorative coins?

From today, four major banks start to make appointments

As in the past, the issuance of commemorative notes on the 70th anniversary of RMB issuance is also divided into two batches by appointment. The first batch was issued nationwide from December 28, 2018, and the second batch was issued in Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Hubei, Guangdong and other regions from January 11, 2019.

By November 29, 2018, the branches of the people's Bank of China will announce to the public the amount of local banknotes allocated for the 70th anniversary.

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China and China Construction Bank will announce the 70 anniversary banknote reservation exchange outlets and the number of reservations for each outlet on the official website.

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China and China Construction Bank made reservation for two batches of 70th anniversary notes from November 30 to December 3, 2018. The public can make reservation registration through the official websites of the above four banking financial institutions or their business outlets.

Beijing citizens can make an appointment through CCB

The four major state-owned banks are respectively responsible for the advance issuance of commemorative banknotes in some provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government. ICBC is responsible for Shanghai, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Guangdong (including Shenzhen), Sichuan and other regions; ABC is responsible for Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shandong, Hainan, Guizhou, Tibet, Qinghai, Xinjiang and other regions; BOC is responsible for Tianjin, Shanxi, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Chongqing, Shaanxi and other regions; CCB is responsible for Beijing, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Henan, Yunnan, Gansu, Ningxia and other regions.

According to the arrangement of the central bank, the reserve and exchange limit for each person for the 70th anniversary banknote is 20 pieces, which must be exchanged with the original of the second generation resident identity card. The first batch will go through reservation exchange from December 28, 2018 to January 4, 2019. The second batch is scheduled for exchange from January 11, 2019 to January 15, 2019. The public can go to the appointed business outlets to transact the reservation exchange business at the appointed time with the valid identity certificate registered in the reservation system. If the public receives the 70th anniversary banknote on behalf of others, it shall handle it with the original valid identity certificate registered in the appointment system by the recipient, and the number of recipients shall not exceed 5.

The 70 year old banknotes that have not been exchanged will be exchanged to the public through on-site exchange. The on-site exchange period is from February 22 to February 28, 2019, during which the public can handle the exchange business at the business outlets that undertake the on-site exchange work.
