Initial examination time

The preliminary examination time of 2019 national postgraduate entrance examination is from December 22 to December 23, 2018 (8:30-11:30 a.m. and 14:00-17:00 p.m. every day). The examination subjects with more than 3 hours shall be conducted on December 24 (starting time is 8:30, and the deadline shall be determined by the enrollment unit, not more than 14:30).

The examination time is subject to Beijing time. The State shall not recognize the entrance examination for postgraduates that is not held on the prescribed date.

Preliminary subjects

The first test was written.

The examination time of each subject is generally 3 hours; the examination time of special subjects such as architectural design is no longer than 6 hours.

Application requirements

The enrollment of postgraduate entrance examination includes two stages: online enrollment and on-site confirmation. All candidates who take part in the postgraduate entrance examination must register online, confirm the online information, collect their own image and other relevant electronic information at the application site, and pay the application fee as required.

In principle, graduates should choose the provincial (District, city) registration center where they study to apply for online registration and on-site confirmation;

Candidates for individual examination shall select the registration point designated by the provincial educational recruitment and examination institution where the enrollment unit is located to handle online registration and on-site confirmation procedures;

Other candidates (including candidates for professional degrees in business administration, public administration, tourism management and Engineering Management) shall select the registration point designated by the provincial education recruitment and examination institution where the work or residence is located to apply for online registration and on-site confirmation.

The technical service of online enrollment is in the charge of the national college student information consultation and employment guidance center. On site confirmation shall be organized by the provincial educational recruitment and examination institutions.

Online registration

The online registration time is from October 10 to October 31, 2018, 9:00-22:00 every day.

■ online forecast name time

The forecast time is from September 24 to 27, 2018, 9:00-22:00 every day.

Candidates should log in to "China graduate enrollment information network" (public website: http://yz.chsi.com.cn, education website: http://yz.chsi.cn, hereinafter referred to as "research and recruitment network") within the specified time to register.

Before you sign up, please read the application notice in advance and sign up according to the online announcement requirements of the Ministry of education, provincial education recruitment and examination institutions, registration points and enrollment units.

During the registration period, candidates can modify the online registration information or fill in the registration information again. In order to avoid occupying more test places and affecting other candidates' application, one candidate can only keep one valid application information.

Candidates can only fill in one major of one recruiting unit when registering. After the examination, the Ministry of Education announces the basic requirements for candidates to enter the second round of examination, candidates can learn about the adjustment methods, plan balance and other information of enrollment units through the "research and recruitment network" adjustment service system, and fill in multiple adjustment volunteers independently and in parallel according to relevant regulations.

During the registration period, the information of candidates' academic qualifications (student status) will be verified online. Candidates can view the results of the verification online. Candidates can also log in to "China higher education student information network" (website: http://www.chsi.com.cn) before or during the application to inquire about their academic qualifications (student status). Candidates who fail to pass the examination of academic qualifications (student status) shall complete the examination of academic qualifications (student status) within the time specified by the enrollment unit.

Candidates should fill in the online application information accurately and provide real materials. In case of failure in examination, retest or admission due to incorrect information or false information, the consequences shall be borne by the candidates themselves.

For the specific requirements and precautions of online registration, please refer to the regulations on the administration of national postgraduate enrollment in 2019 (published on the official website of the Ministry of education, http://www.moe.edu.cn) and the notice of application on the "research and recruitment website".

There is plenty of time for online registration. It is suggested that the majority of candidates should arrange the registration time reasonably, avoid the peak of initial and final registration, and avoid the impact of network congestion on registration. If the application is overdue, the application information shall not be revised.

Site confirmation

The specific time and requirements for on-site confirmation shall be determined and announced by each provincial educational recruitment and examination institution according to the local application.

Candidates are requested to pay attention to the announcements issued by the provincial educational recruitment and examination institutions in a timely manner, and complete on-site verification and confirmation of personal online application information, payment of application fees, collection of personal image information, etc. If overdue, it will not be reissued.

Candidates shall submit their resident ID card, academic degree certificate (with student ID card held by ordinary colleges and universities, adult colleges and universities, and adult college degree education graduates) and online registration number when confirming on site, which shall be checked by the staff of the registration point. Candidates who apply for the enrollment plan of "retired college students and soldiers" special master's degree shall also submit the original or copy of their "approval for enlistment" and "certificate of withdrawal from active service".

Candidates should carefully understand and strictly follow the requirements of application conditions and relevant policies. The online registration information will not be modified after being confirmed by the examinee on site.

Print examination permit

From December 14 to December 24, 2018, candidates can log in to "research and recruitment network" with their online report user name and password to download and print the "examination permit". The examination permit shall be printed on A4 size white paper, and the front and back sides shall not be altered or written during use. Candidates can participate in the preliminary and retest with the downloaded and printed examination permit and ID card.

Please keep the user name, password, examination permit, ID card and other documents properly to avoid loss caused by leakage.

In order to help candidates understand the enrollment policy, each postgraduate recruitment unit will launch the national postgraduate recruitment publicity and consultation week 2019 on "research and recruitment network" from September 19 to 23, at which time the relevant postgraduate recruitment units will answer the questions of the majority of candidates online.
