Many of the questions are changed from scientific research papers. The total length of the test paper is 26 A4 papers, almost no pure memory questions, which need to be obtained from data, article chart analysis, some of the test questions even use color printing, the reading and understanding requirements of the test stem are high, so the test time is 2:30-5:00, two and a half hours;

This year's biology competition also attracted 28 colleges and universities to recruit students on the spot, far more than in previous years. The top 50 contestants can enter Tsinghua University without any test. In addition to biology, medicine, pharmacy, environment and other majors, Qian Xuesen's mechanics class of Tsinghua University also recruited four people at the scene this year.

On the morning of the 20th, the closing ceremony of the 27th national biology competition for middle school students was held, and the Organizing Committee announced the final results and the list of winners. The 2019 biology final will be held in Hengshui middle school, Hebei Province.
There were 72 gold medals, 72 silver medals and 96 bronze medals. Among them, the top 50 gold medal athletes form the new National Bio Olympic training team, and take part in the winter camp training next winter vacation, and then select four of them to form the international bio Olympic China national team.
