Dragon boat festival dumplings is a tradition since ancient times, but for many people, I believe that they seldom make dumplings at home, so what do you need to prepare to make dumplings? In fact, it's a good choice to make zongzi with your family on such a special festival.

zongzi is wrapped in Dragon Boat Festival. Take Xiaozao zongzi as an example:

Raw materials: 10 jin of glutinous rice (200 pieces can be packed), 5 jin of fresh reed leaves, 3 jin of jujube, 5 liang of dried horseradish

Method:

1. Wash the glutinous rice and soak in cold water for 2 hours. Wash jujube. Boil the fresh reed leaves in boiling water for 1 hour. When the reed leaves turn green to yellow, remove them into cold water and wash them. Then, stack the reed leaves one by one (every 4 big leaves and every 5 or 6 small leaves). The principle is: straighten out the first leaf (face up, the same below), press the second leaf on the right edge of the first leaf, press the third leaf on the left edge of the second leaf, and so on. In this way, the reed leaves are crisscross and pressed together, so that the rice will not leak out when wrapped. After finishing, fold it in half from the middle and stack it one by one for standby. Dry horseradish is soft with blisters.

2. Take a stack of reed leaves and open them. Bend both ends to the middle and overlap them, so that the center of the reed leaves becomes a circle

A cone-shaped bucket. First put the soaked glutinous rice (about 4 yuan) in the bucket, then put three dates on it, and then put the glutinous rice (about 4 yuan) on it to make the rice level with the bucket mouth. Then, fold down the reed leaves on the upper part of the bucket and wrap them around the bucket mouth, and tie them tightly with the soaked wet horseradish, which is called zongzi.

3. Put the zongzi into the pot one by one, fill it with cold water, cover the lid of the pot, and cook on the high fire for 2 hours,

That is ripe. (you can also use a pressure cooker for 18 minutes.). When eating, you can stick sugar.

Features: fragrant reed leaves. Glutinous rice is sticky and strong.

Note: without horseradish, cotton thread can also be used. Zongzi can also use peanuts, ham, bean paste and so on.
