Grapes must be washed before eating, otherwise it's not good to have a tummy. Summer is the season when grapes are on the market in large quantities. Do you know how to wash grapes? What's the skill of cleaning grapes?

What is the cleanest way to wash grapes

1. Flour

Principle: flour water has a high viscosity. Wash the grapes in flour water. The dirty things on the grapes can be taken away by the sticky flour water. The grapes will be washed very clean.

Method: put the grapes into a clear water basin, the amount of water is not more than the grapes, add 1-2 scoops of flour, and mix well with the water. Then stand for 2 minutes, hold the main stem of the grape by hand, and gently swing it in the water to make the flour fully contact with the impurities attached to the grape fruit. After 2-3 minutes, wash the grapes with flowing water twice. Flour has an adsorption effect, which can easily wash off the dirt between the pulp gaps.

2. Table salt

Principle: soak in salt water to remove residual dirt and pesticides. Salt has the function of disinfection and sterilization. Add some salt to the water to wash the grapes, which can not only clean them, but also disinfect them. The emulsification of salt can also destroy the protective layer formed by some pesticide surfactants and promote the elution of pesticides.

Method: add salt to the grapes and stir them evenly; soak them in salt water for about 20 minutes, then pour out the water; then rinse them with clear water.

3. Vinegar

Principle: use vinegar water (such as white vinegar) to clean berries, not only clean, but also sterilize and keep fresh. The proportion of vinegar and water varies from 1:3 to 1:10. It was found that both light vinegar water and strong vinegar water could play a role in sterilization and preservation.

How to do it: put the grapes into the container, then pour in the vinegar water diluent, shake it quickly and gently, so that each berry can be thoroughly cleaned. Then pour out the vinegar water, control or air dry naturally.

Note: if you wash fruits and vegetables with vinegar, can you really remove pesticides? White vinegar mainly contains acetic acid and water, and the pH value of acetic acid is low, which is not suitable for microbial growth. If you wash fruits and vegetables with white vinegar, it can really kill bacillus, Escherichia coli, etc. on the surface of fruits and vegetables, which has a good bactericidal and antibacterial effect. However, to deal with the agricultural residues, white vinegar is a little inadequate.

4. Toothpaste

Principle: grape skin is very swollen, it is difficult to wash it with water. It's clean to wash with toothpaste. Because there are some small particles in the toothpaste that can be rubbed. The grapes washed with toothpaste are not only clean, but also will not leave the taste of toothpaste on the grapes.

Method: put the grape into the fruit basin, add a small amount of water, soak the grape surface first and clean it. Then squeeze toothpaste into your hands, rub each other's hands, and gently scrub the grapes. The strength should be appropriate, and the grapes should not be crushed. After washing, take out the grapes and put them into the fruit sieve. Finally, rinse the grapes with flowing water. After washing with water, it will become cleaner and crystal clear.
