Conflict with villagers

In the first video on the Internet, a male tourist quarreled with a local villager, who chased the villager with a baseball bat from his car. The second video is shot in the car. The male tourists are sitting on the car. The villagers take tools such as spades to the car and let the tourists stop the fire. After the tourists get off the car, the villagers knock the male tourists on the head with axes. The third video is shot outside the vehicle driven by the tourists. After getting on the bus, the male tourists start the car to drive away. The video shows that there are some bananas scattered on the road.

Many netizens think that villagers work hard to grow bananas. Male tourists are the first to pick bananas and threaten villagers with tools, so they are chased by villagers with arms. But some netizens think that the villagers are a little over zealous. They should first call the police and wait for the law enforcement department to deal with it. Both sides should be more rational.

Guangxi Lingshan County Police

Has stepped in to investigate the matter

After the popularity of the video, some netizens claimed that male tourists were "stealing bananas" in Hainan, which triggered a conflict between the two sides. However, it was later confirmed that the incident occurred in Lingshan County, Guangxi.

Lingshan County Public Security Bureau issued a circular on the matter, saying that at about 16:00 on April 27, the County Public Security Bureau received a phone call from Zhang Mou (male, 23 years old, from Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province) saying that he was beaten. After receiving the report, the police immediately went to the scene for disposal.

Police reported that when Zhang drove through Wenli Town, Lingshan County on the same day, he stopped to cut the bananas planted on the roadside. After being found by nearby villagers, there was a conflict between the two sides. In the process, Zhang was slightly injured in the head and his car glass was damaged. At present, the County Public Security Bureau has accepted the investigation, and the related work is in the process of further development.

Suspected microblog

Claim 'no offense'

After the video of "banana stealing incident" was widely forwarded for attention, Zhang's wife, a male tourist in the suspected hot video, posted an article on her micro blog and said to herself, because there was no banana tree in the north, she felt strange after seeing it for the first time, and picked a string of wild ones. Soon after, local villagers came to say that her husband had stolen bananas and wanted to smash them with stones. Then there was a scene in the video.

According to the Weibo article, at the time of the incident, the two were still carrying 8-month-old children, but the villagers still took an axe and cut it into the car, causing the children to cry. 'we're wrong first. We're wrong unintentionally. I really don't know. I didn't steal. "The article emphasizes that the online video is intercepted, and the parties have handed over the whole process recorded by the dash cam and other evidences to the police.

However, a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily found that the microblog had been deleted shortly after. Yesterday, the reporter of Beiqing daily tried to contact Zhang's wife, but no response was received as of the time of publication.
