According to the regulations, the driver's license must be dealt with in accordance with the relevant regulations in a timely manner during the period of temporary suspension or when the illegal score reaches 12 points, and the motor vehicle shall not be driven until it has been dealt with in accordance with the law; if the motor vehicle continues to be driven, it is a serious traffic offence and will face severe punishment by law.
According to Article 28 of the regulations for the implementation of the road traffic safety law of the people's Republic of China, no motor vehicle shall be driven during the period when the driver's license is detained or temporarily withheld according to law.
If a motor vehicle is handed over to a person whose driver's license has been temporarily suspended for driving, a fine of 1500 yuan shall be imposed and the driver's license shall be revoked. If the driver still drives a car during the temporary suspension of his driving license, he shall be fined 1500 yuan and detained for less than 15 days.
When driving a motor vehicle on the road during the period when the driver's license is temporarily suspended, according to the regulations on the use of the driver's license, the illegal act shall be subject to a one-time deduction of 6 points from the driver's license.
In addition, if the driver does not carry the motor vehicle driver's license with him / her, he / she shall not continue to drive the vehicle, regardless of whether the driver is illegal or not. The traffic administrative department of the public security organ shall detain the motor vehicle and notify the driver to provide the driving license.
According to the different situations of the driver's license provided, it shall be handled separately:
A) if the driver's license provided is true, legal and there is no illegal act during driving, a warning or a fine of 20-200 yuan will be given and the motor vehicle will be returned in time;
B) if the driver's license provided is true and legal, but there is an illegal act at any time, it shall be punished according to the illegal situation and the driver's license not carried with him, and the motor vehicle shall be returned in time;
C) if the driver fails to provide a true and legal motor vehicle driving license, it shall be regarded as driving without a license, and it can be handled according to the situations in (1) and (2). If there is no car and there is a car accident, it shall be treated as a crime.
Therefore, never drive a motor vehicle on the road during the period when the driver's license is temporarily suspended, and do not think that it will not be found by the traffic police. Once it is found by the traffic police, the punishment situation is very serious. If a major traffic accident is caused by driving a motor vehicle during the period when the driver's license is temporarily suspended, it is more likely that the motor vehicle will not be driven for life.
