Cherry blossom in Wuhan will open in mid March this year
According to the latest Cherry Blossom forecast jointly released by China Weather Network and Hubei Meteorological Service Center, the first release date of two major cherry varieties in Wuhan University this year, i.e. zhongyingranjingjiye and Jianghu cherry, is expected to be around March 15, and the flowering period is between 18-28.
The initial release time of cherry in Dijiao Park and Qingchuan Pavilion is basically the same as that of Wuhan University. Because the temperature of East Lake cherry garden is a little lower, the opening day will be a few days later than that of Wuhan University. The place where cherry blossom is the latest in Wuhan is Huangpi cool village in the suburb. Because the average altitude of qingliangzhai is more than 600 meters, and the temperature is about 5 ℃ lower than that of the urban area, when the cherry blossom of Wuda falls in full bloom, it is when the wild cherry blossom blooms in qingliangzhai. And because of the low temperature here, the flowering period of cherry blossom is usually about one week longer than that of the city.

During the cherry blossom development last year, Wuhan University will implement the measures of real name appointment of social public network, and publish the relevant links of appointment on the homepage of Wuhan University or the official wechat of Wuhan University three days in advance. The public can use the ID card number, name and other basic information to make a real name appointment to obtain the admission qualification. When making an appointment, only individual or family based appointments are accepted, and group appointments are not accepted.
After the successful appointment, the tourists will also accept double verification when they come to Wuda to enjoy the cherry blossom. When they enter the school gate and the cherry blossom concentration area, they will scan the QR code for verification. The reservation personnel are only allowed to enter the school after checking the reservation information from the main gate, west gate and Wenlan gate of the school, and only the personnel in other school gates are allowed to pass through; it is planned to carry out closed management of the central area around Sakura Avenue, Kunpeng square and administrative building, and the reservation personnel can enter the area after checking again.

2. Only by booking online and receiving the message "you have successfully registered for Wuhan University cherry blossom season 2018 & hellip; & hellip;", can you prove that you have successfully registered.
3. Please print QR code e-ticket or download it to mobile phone after successful registration.
4. Please go at the time corresponding to the admission ticket, scan the QR code e-ticket on site and check the name and ID card before entering the school.
East Lake cherry garden
East Lake cherry garden is the best place to enjoy cherry in Wuhan besides Wuhan University. In March every year, cherry blossoms are in full bloom and countless tourists gather here.
Cherry Blossom Festival 2018: in addition to the cherry garden, cherry blossom Avenue, yingding, the fourth teaching building, Kunpeng square, humanities Museum, administrative building, the area around the school hospital, as well as the main teaching building of the Ministry of engineering, Xinghu of the Ministry of information science, the Ministry of Medicine and other places in the campus of Wuda can enjoy cherry blossom. Cherry garden area is dominated by cherry blossom of small day. It has collected 6 kinds of cherry blossoms with more than 10 excellent products, such as early cherry, late cherry and drooping cherry.
