Flying pig hides 6500 yuan more low-priced tickets than normal tickets. It's too shocking

Original title: 6500 yuan more expensive than normal ticket purchase! Flying pig was exposed to hide low-cost tickets when selling multi-way tickets

The summer vacation is coming, which is another peak tourist season. Recently, some consumers broke the news that Alibaba's flying pig travel app will automatically 'hide' low-cost tickets. When users buy multi-way tickets on the same line, the price is 3 to 4 times higher than that of other third-party ticket purchase platforms. If they don't buy multi-way tickets, they can only buy low-cost tickets one by one.

After actual measurement, the reporter found that this is not a special case. When flying pigs buy three or more multi-way tickets, the total price is generally much higher than the normal ticket price.

According to the user's disclosure, the reporter first opened the air ticket purchase page in the flying pig travel app and selected the air ticket from Nanjing (NKG) - Sapporo (SPK) on June 7, From Kansai (KIX) to Jeju Island (CJU) on June 13, and then from Jeju Island to Yangzhou (YTY) on June 15. It was found that if the three-way tickets were purchased through multiple trips, the flying pig app showed that the minimum ticket was 9071 yuan.

The reporter tried to find that if the flying pig app buys these three-way tickets one by one, the 'hidden' low-cost tickets will appear.

If you buy the first trip from Nanjing (NKG) to Sapporo (SPK) separately, the minimum direct ticket price is 1459 yuan; From KIX to CJU on June 13, the lowest direct ticket price is 516 yuan; On June 15, the direct ticket price from Jeju Island to Yangzhou (YTY) is 586 yuan.

The total cost of the three trips is only 2561 yuan. This price is 6510 yuan cheaper than the total price of multi-way tickets.

The reporter found that this situation did not appear on other ticket purchase platforms. Enter the same time and starting place. A third-party ticket purchase platform app shows that the minimum price of multi-way tickets is 2669 yuan, which is almost the same as the total price of normal one-way tickets. In other words, at the same time, at the same place of departure and destination, the ticket price of flying pig differs from that of other third-party ticket purchase platforms by 6402 yuan, and the price of flying pig is 3.5 times that of the latter.

The reporter then tried to randomly search another multi-way trip in the flying pig app: tickets from Nanjing to Tokyo on June 10 (the first trip was transferred in Hong Kong), Osaka to Shanghai on June 13 (the second trip), and Shanghai to Guangzhou on June 16. The total price of the multi-way trip was 4220 yuan, including the transfer time of 26 hours.

The same departure time and route are normally purchased through flying pig one-way, with a total price of 3368. The flight including transfer time is only 24 hours, but the price difference between the two is nearly 900 yuan.

They all have the same starting place and departure time, but the multi-way ticket is much higher than the total price of normal one-way ticket. How to explain this situation? The reporter consulted Feizhu customer service by telephone, and the other party responded:

"It may be the airline's service is different, or it may be a setup problem."

He said he would give a reply after the investigation. But as of press time, the flying pig has not given a reply.

Have you ever had such an experience?
