How to save CT film and how to save it more convenient

The X-ray films that have been photographed turn yellow, wet and fuzzy after being stored for a period of time. These are all caused by improper storage. Some patients will take the wrong films and lose them, which also adds trouble to the diagnosis and treatment process. How to keep the films well can be used for reference in the following methods.

1. sun protection

Avoid exposure to the sun or high temperature, long-term exposure to the sun, easy to lead to film image decolorization, unable to interpret, therefore, the preservation of the film to avoid exposure to the sun or high temperature.

2. moistureproof

The film should avoid being wet by rain or damp. If the film is placed in a humid environment for a long time, it is easy to cause image deliquescence, adhesion and image destruction.

3. anti pressure

Avoid the harmful effect of pressure on the film, do not fold or curl, and ensure the film is flat when placed. When the film is squeezed, folded and rubbed by gravity, it is easy to produce artificial artifact, which leads to image blur and affects doctors' diagnosis. We should pay special attention to this point. In clinical work, it is often found that some films are folded and deformed and cannot be interpreted.

4. radiation protection

Prevent radiation from any X-ray, gamma ray or any other penetrating ray. In particular, X-ray films must be completely away from the irradiation of radiation lines, which will cause serious fog of films.

In addition, many patients are first treated in the city and county hospitals, do the relevant examination, and then go to the famous top three hospitals in China, in order to facilitate doctors to understand the changes of the disease and make better diagnosis and treatment decisions. During the whole process of treatment, it is better to keep the film according to the following principles.

1. classification

The classification and placement of ordinary X-rays, CT and MRI are conducive to cleaning, avoiding loss, and helping doctors to pick up and read films as needed.

2. sorting

You can paste small tape on the upper and lower edges of the film, mark the date, and place it in the order of date. The next time you go to see a doctor, the doctor will no longer spend time sorting out these disordered films, which greatly facilitates the doctor's reading and improves efficiency.

All in all, the proper preservation of the image film is not only conducive to a better review of the disease, but also to provide a complete basis for the doctor's diagnosis and treatment.
