What's the matter with WiFi network speed changing and card slowing? A way to help you revive

Sihai network: I believe many people have encountered that the WiFi in their home is more and more slowly used, and the bandwidth is more and more large, but when using WiFi, they still take the card correctly! Even WiFi will be used more and more slowly. What's the reason? How to solve the problem of slow use of WiFi?

1. Different units

The unit of broadband is KB / s, and the unit of download speed is KB / s, 1B (byte) = 8b (bit). Therefore, the theoretical download speed of the official 100m broadband can reach up to 12.5m/s instead of 100M / s.

2. The actual network speed will be affected by many factors

The download rate will be affected by computer performance, website server, website bandwidth and whether the download resources are downloaded by multiple people at the same time. At the same time, ADSL technology is a kind of asymmetric digital technology, which leads to speed asymmetry. For example, the downlink rate is 20MBps and the uplink rate is only 1Mbps.

3. False broadband flooding

Some broadband network service providers in China, after obtaining broadband resources at the lowest cost, have abandoned their original promise of exclusive broadband and ensuring network speed when selling broadband to users, and sold the limited broadband resources to as many users as possible to dilute operating costs and maximize profits. This is called 'fake broadband'.

Why is WiFi slow at home? A: there are four main reasons.

1. Signal congestion

WiFi is like a station. The same station uses the same band. In other words, the more WiFi transceiver devices around the user, the greater the impact on the WiFi network signal. In addition to the router itself, mobile phones, wireless phones, microwave Shanghai, Bluetooth and other devices may be the cause of congestion.

2. Unable to send and receive at the same time

WiFi signal cannot send and receive data at the same time, which will inevitably cause data delay. So many people using the same WiFi channel at the same time will greatly affect the signal strength of WiFi.

3. Software background

Check if the software on your device is automatically syncing data and photos. Most of these applications work in the background and are ignored by users, but they are taking up a lot of traffic.

4. Router location

The location of wireless router has a great influence on signal strength. For example, if you put a router on a concrete wall, its signal strength will be greatly reduced. If possible, the best location for routers is naturally on the ceiling in the middle of the room (which, of course, many consumers do not have).

Why is public WiFi not easy to use? A: at present, domestic public WiFi is not up to standard in use experience.

1. Operators lack enthusiasm

At present, WiFi can not alleviate the traffic pressure of 3G data services, and it can not make operators profitable. Neither of these two key points has been achieved. Therefore, operators are less and less enthusiastic about WiFi, and lack the motivation to solve the problem of low speed of various network coverage.

2. Lack of experience in product deployment

Another reason for the poor WiFi signal is the lack of experience of operators and shopping malls. Because the strategies of WiFi deployment and mobile base station are not the same, the choice of various AP sites and the cooperation among them require more professional solutions. But operators don't have much more experience to draw on.

3. Complex user operation

Although the public WiFi of the operators is free during the trial operation, the original intention of the design is to charge. Therefore, if users want to connect, they must register an account, obtain a password, and fill in the registration information through the browser pop-up page after connecting to WiFi. Such a complex process often makes users at a loss. Tedious operations make users give up using when they are not finished.

4. There may be misunderstanding

Not all searchable WiFi is public. Some shopping malls, bars, high-speed rail and other vehicles will have some WiFi hotspots of internal LAN or office network, which are unable to connect to the Internet. Therefore, if we encounter this kind of WiFi signal, even if we are connected, we cannot access the external network.

A U.S. company plans to launch hundreds of microsatellites to provide free WiFi for people around the world. Is it true? A: the answer is clear, not true.

1. The 'outernet' project propagates data in one direction and cannot access the Internet freely

Its original intention is to provide a kind of 'broadcast' network coverage for those remote, backward and inaccessible areas. It is mainly used for education and knowledge popularization. So these contents are also planned and arranged by the sender in advance. It is impossible for you to freely access any website on the Internet.

The 'outernet' project is actually a space-based network 'radio station'. You can only listen to it one way and access the content it pushes to you through your mobile phone.

The project claims to let everyone have free access to the Internet and bypass Internet censorship. This idea based on Internet liberalism, although it sounds very beautiful, may bring huge unknown risks to the project.

Few countries are willing to accept the existence of such a completely unregulated Internet 'broadcasting', and the result is naturally not optimistic.

2. Satellite Internet access is actually feasible, free is too difficult

As for the feasibility of Satellite Internet access, the answer is yes. Although the satellite is far away from us, with the progress of technology, the highest speed of commercial satellite Internet has reached 20MBps.

However, due to the natural constraints such as transmission distance, Satellite Internet is still unable to provide large-scale peak value services. Once free for all, it is likely to cause network paralysis. However, even if 'outernet' can't really 'surf the Internet', it has great significance to eliminate the inequality of educational resources.
