What is a double top university?
According to Chen Baosheng, Minister of education, the "double first-class" construction is not a copy of the "211 Project" and the "985 Project", nor an upgraded version, let alone a copycat version. It is a new plan.
Recently, the state announced the list of world-class universities and first-class disciplines (hereinafter referred to as "double first-class") to build universities and disciplines.
Among them, there are 42 first-class universities, including 36 in class A and 6 in class B.

At the same time, the "establishment and improvement of performance evaluation mechanism" and "dynamic adjustment and support" proposed in the plan also broke the previous "life-long system". Being selected into the "double first-class" does not mean that you can have no worries. On the contrary, the third-party evaluation of colleges and Universities will spur its construction and development.
