Liu Bowen, Zhu Hongwu's military adviser, asked his subordinates to dress up as Taoists to sell talismans in various counties. He said that this year, disasters would fall in the sky, and those who wanted to avoid disasters could fly the sun and moon flag on August 15, and the flag would be hidden in moon cakes. On that day, people all over the country cut big moon cakes and hung the flags hidden in them. The uprising was very strong. To the surprise of the Yuan people's Congress, Zhu Hongwu succeeded in one blow and ended the rule of the Yuan Dynasty. Later, this kind of sun and moon flag was the 'Ming' flag. Another similar legend is that there is a piece of paper inside the moon cake, which says "kill Tartars on the 15th of August".
