In June this year, the national development and Reform Commission issued the guiding opinions on improving the ticket price formation mechanism of state-owned scenic spots and reducing the ticket prices of key state-owned scenic spots. It is proposed that the high ticket prices of a number of key state-owned scenic spots should be effectively reduced before the peak of this year's "11" Golden Week tourism.
After that, a large number of scenic spots announced price cuts. According to the data released by the national development and Reform Commission, as of August 29, 21 provinces have introduced price reduction (free opening) measures for 157 scenic spots.
Since September 20, another batch of well-known scenic spots, including Shaolin Temple in Songshan, Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang, Yuntai Mountain in Jiaozuo, Xiaolangdi, Jiuzhaigou, Emei Mountain, Leshan Giant Buddha and other scenic spots have been officially reduced.

Since September 20, the ticket price of Songshan Shaolin Temple scenic spot has been reduced from 100 yuan to 80 yuan, that of Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang from 100 yuan to 90 yuan, that of Yuntai Mountain scenic spot in Jiaozuo from 150 yuan to 120 yuan, and that of Xiaolangdi Scenic spot from 50 yuan to 40 yuan, with an average drop of 20%.
According to the relevant person in charge of Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, according to the calculation of the number of tourists in each scenic spot in 2017, the Shaolin Temple scenic area will reduce the ticket income by 51.746 million yuan; the Longmen Grottoes scenic area will reduce the ticket income by 31.1 million yuan; the Yuntai Mountain scenic area will reduce the ticket income by 64.472 million yuan; and the Xiaolangdi Scenic Area will reduce the ticket income by 4.701 million yuan. This will allow tourists to enjoy practical benefits.
In Sichuan, the ticket prices of Jiuzhaigou scenic spot in peak season decreased from 220 yuan to 190 yuan, Huanglong scenic spot from 200 yuan to 170 yuan, Emeishan scenic spot from 185 yuan to 160 yuan, Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Spot, Qingcheng Mountain scenic spot and Dujiangyan scenic spot from 90 yuan to 80 yuan.
In Zhejiang, the ticket price of Qiandao Lake scenic spot in Hangzhou was reduced from 150 yuan to 130 yuan in peak season; the ticket price of dongzha scenic spot in Wuzhen was adjusted from 120 yuan to 110 yuan, and the joint ticket price of dongzha scenic spot was adjusted from 200 yuan to 190 yuan.
The price of tickets must not be lowered or increased
So many scenic spots reduce prices, tourists can save a lot of 'real gold and silver'. However, some people are worried that some scenic spots will increase the price of tickets and other tourism services, which will increase the burden of tourists in disguise.
