Grade IV and grade VI score description
The design of CET-4 and CET-6 refers to the teaching requirements of College English Course (hereinafter referred to as the teaching requirements). Level 4 refers to the 'general requirements' specified in the teaching requirements; level 6 refers to the' higher requirements' specified in the teaching requirements. The scores of CET-4 and CET-6 are reported in the way of norm reference, without passing line. The norm group of CET-4 is about 30000 non-English majors from 16 universities in China, and the norm group of CET-6 is about 5000 non-English majors from five key universities in China. After each test, the paper scores are converted into report scores according to the norm. The total score of the CET-4 and CET-6 reports is 710,
There are four parts in the individual scores of CET-4 and CET-6. The proportion of the four parts and their scores is: listening accounts for 35%, reading accounts for 35%, comprehensive accounts for 10%, and composition accounts for 20%. The full score of each single report is 249 for listening, 249 for reading, 70 for synthesis and 142 for composition. The sum of the individual reports is equal to the total report score.
How to apply for grade 4 and grade 6 examination
The content of the score verification is whether there is a wrong or missed score; the implementation of the scoring standard is not within the scope of review. The application for examination is still accepted by the office of CET-4 and CET-6. The handling method is as follows:
1. Application materials: provide 1) Certificate (with official seal) issued by the Academic Affairs Office of the university where the student status is located, which shall include: time of taking the examination, examination level, examination permit number, etc.; 2) copy of ID card.
2. Acceptance time: within one month (subject to the postmark time!) after each test result is released.
3. Application method: the office of CET-4 and CET-6 will not accept the application in person. The applicant shall send the certificate and the copy of ID card issued by the Academic Affairs Office of the institution where the student status is located to the office of CET4 and CET6 by registered mail.
4. Feedback method: the office of CET-4 and CET-6 will send the verification results to the applicants by registered mail.
