Teachers' Day is the only three professional festivals in China, including nurses' day and journalists' day. Since 1931, there have been four kinds of teachers' day in different historical periods in China.

The earliest teacher's day in Chinese history is 1931. At that time, Tai shuangqiu, Cheng Qibao, a well-known professor in the field of education, initiated to contact people from Beijing and Shanghai education circles, proposed June 6 as teachers' day every year, and issued the declaration of teachers' day, which proposed three goals: improving teachers' treatment, ensuring teachers' work and improving teachers' cultivation. Although the birth of this Teachers' Day was not recognized by the Kuomintang government at that time, it had a certain impact all over the country.
