The 2018 Jakarta Asian Games was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from August 18, 2018 to September 2, 2018. Jakarta is the third capital city after Bangkok and New Delhi to obtain the right to host the second Asian Games. Jakarta held the 4th Asian Games in 1962. There are 40 events in Jakarta Asian Games, including 32 Olympic events and 8 non Olympic events. Jakarta will also host the third Asian Games for the disabled after the Asian Games. The co host city of the 18th Asian Games is JUGANG.
On July 25, 2018, the State Administration of sport of China announced the list of Chinese delegation members who will take part in the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games on its website. On August 18, the opening ceremony of the 18th Asian Games was held in bangano stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia.
