Fortune chinese.com has released the latest fortune China top 500 ranking list, which lists all listed companies by revenue. The annual revenue threshold of the listed companies this year is 13.864 billion yuan, which is 22.44% higher than that of last year's first breakthrough of 10 billion yuan. This year, the total operating revenue of 500 listed companies in China reached 39.65 trillion yuan, 18.22% higher than that of last year, double the growth rate; the net profit reached 3.48 trillion yuan, 24.24% higher (by contrast, the growth rate of net profit last year was only 2.2%).
This year, there are 47 new and re listed companies. One of the most popular Internet service companies is iqiyi, which landed on NASDAQ in March this year. Iqiyi's revenue in 2017 exceeded 17.3 billion yuan, ranking 419 of the 500 listed companies. In addition, there are two first-time auto and parts companies on the list: Shandong Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. (No. 498), and Zhongtai auto Co., Ltd. (No. 352), which has become a popular and controversial company because of its imitation of Porsche.
In terms of industry, the total market value of seven Internet service companies including Alibaba, Tencent and iqiyi exceeded 7 trillion, accounting for nearly 15% of the total market value of 500 listed companies. In terms of profitability, in addition to several major commercial banks and insurance companies, the remaining 10 most profitable listed companies are China Mobile Co., Ltd., Tencent Holdings Co., Ltd. and Alibaba Group Holdings Co., Ltd. The ten companies generate nearly 40% of the profits of the top 500 listed companies.
