What do you mean by pheasant university? Why does the state not ban pheasant university

After the college entrance examination, it's time to fill in the application form. Filling in the application means which university you will go to in the future. Then you can choose university and major according to your scores. But every year, there are some schools that seem to be universities but haven't heard of them very much, so we should pay attention to them. Some are what we call pheasant universities. What's the matter with pheasant university? Let's have a look.

What does pheasant university mean

Recently, the Ministry of Education released 392 pheasant universities. Many people don't understand what pheasant universities mean. Pheasant universities are informal, illegal and unqualified.

In short, pheasant university refers to a school that, although a legal institution, is not recognized by the society and employers in the country where it is located. The main indicator is to spend money to buy diplomas, while the diplomas bought are not recognized by employers.

But ye university does not conform to the oral habits of modern Chinese. So use pheasant to represent wild. Pheasant is slang for a prostitute. It also shows the public's contempt for wild University

The existence of pheasant university is harmful, especially to the market of international students. On the one hand, it has caused huge human, material and time waste for Chinese overseas students, on the other hand, it has brought huge trauma to the credibility of the whole society, especially the pheasant university diploma of some government and university personnel appears in the media from time to time, which has a very bad impact on the credibility of the government, universities and enterprises.

Why not ban pheasant university

The annual college entrance examination has finally come to an end. Of course, the annual list of pheasant universities (so-called fake universities) has also been published. It is said that there are 381 pheasant universities exposed this year. Now that we know it's pheasant university, why not ban it? But let these pheasant universities exist in the field of education? So far, the government has not given a clear answer, but it is said that the most reasonable statement is that some of the pheasant universities are indeed legal and there is no way to kill them with one stick. Note: some of the schools on the list are legal, but they are on the list of pheasant universities published by the Ministry of education.

Briefly explain the current situation of domestic pheasant universities. There are four main reasons why these universities are called pheasant universities (the semi official explanation given on the network). First, there is no qualification for running schools. Second, there is no qualification for enrollment. Third, there is suspicion of illegal enrollment. Fourth, there is a virtual network school. The fourth reason is that pheasant university is the most obvious, because they are fraud, and they are committing crimes. It's right to call this kind of University pheasant university, and the government will severely seal up this kind of online virtual school every year.

However, due to the first three reasons, pheasant universities are hard to understand, because they all have their own campuses and corresponding fixed assets, but the diploma issued by such pheasant universities is not recognized by the Ministry of education. The first reason is how to establish a university without qualifications? Isn't it illegal to set up a university before getting the qualification to run a school? Why does the Ministry of education let such schools exist? We don't know the answer, but there are schools like this! The second reason is more difficult to understand. The lack of enrollment qualification means that the school has been recognized by the Ministry of education, but the school is waiting for the Ministry of education to issue the enrollment qualification. If the enrollment qualification is not approved due to the teachers or other hardware reasons of the school itself, it is the reason of the school itself. But now that the school has been established and the qualification for running a school is available, is the enrollment qualification higher than the qualification for running a school? If not, then it is necessary for the Ministry of education to make an explanation. The third reason is also hard to understand, what is illegal enrollment, that is to say, this school has both qualification and enrollment qualification. The students who enter the school are all approved by the Ministry of education. However, when the diploma is issued, it is said that the illegal enrollment of the school makes these students unable to get the diploma. This is my understanding of illegal enrollment, but it is obviously the fault of the Ministry of education, and should not be passed on to the school. Of course, we are talking about the students who have been enrolled in the regular college entrance examination, rather than all kinds of special enrollment by the school itself!

These four kinds of reasons on the Internet lead to pheasant schools, which are really annoying, although we are not very clear about the most fundamental reason why these pheasant colleges have always existed. However, taking the list of 381 pheasant universities, we can see that China University of Posts and Telecommunications ranks first. It can be clearly seen that this university was founded in 1991, this year in 2017, 26 years, this pheasant university has been in Beijing Fangshan University Town, with its own physical campus, a large number of teachers and even its own graduate students. In 26 years, one third of one's life is enough for the Ministry of education to study this physical school thoroughly and clearly. If he is an illegal University, why not ban it? There is no difficulty in banning and sealing up. If he is a legitimate University, why is he on the list of pheasant universities? As the highest leading department of education in China, should the Ministry of education give you a clear statement! Actually, look up the 381 pheasant universities, many of which exist! Can't pheasant universities with such entities be banned?

Finally, it is not to report injustice for pheasant university, but to think that the list of pheasant university is just a list. If we do not give a more specific and reasonable legal basis, more college entrance students will enter these pheasant universities and suffer a lifetime of damage. Should there be a detailed explanation of why the Ministry of education regards them as a pheasant university? Most importantly, if they are legal, how can they become a pheasant university?
