How to install the air conditioning wind shield to the pregnant women

Four seas network: air conditioning should be people's favorite in summer, but if you blow directly at us, it will do great harm to your body. If you install an adjustable wind shield, it will be much better. Especially for the mothers who sit on the moon or the rooms with children, it is particularly suitable to install a windbreak. So, how to install the air conditioning windshield?

How to install the air conditioning wind shield

There are basically two types of windshields on the market, one is plastic steel or metal 'Board', the other is Oxford cloth.

1、 Plastic steel wind shield

The advantages of plastic steel wind shield are integrated molding, solid structure and easy cleaning. After all, it is a smooth surface, which can be cleaned with a cloth. Another advantage is that it can be molded into a curved shape to better guide the wind direction.

The disadvantage is that there is a problem of condensation. Water molecules in the air will condense into water droplets on the front when they encounter the low temperature wind shield, and will drip down to wet the floor after a long time. There is another disadvantage (or feature) of the plastic steel plate, which can block the infrared ray, that is to say, in a few cases, the remote control receiving port of the air conditioner will not be able to control normally when blocked, but because the infrared ray has a good reflection, as long as the infrared receiver is not blocked in a short distance, it can normally control the air conditioner by changing an angle.

How to install:

The whole installation process is relatively simple, three parts need a connection to connect in series. An inverted L-shaped hanger on both sides is fixed on both sides of the air conditioner. Generally, there will be a gap of 2mm - 5mm behind the air conditioner so that the hanger can be plugged in.

In the figure below, there are two adjustment knobs on both sides of the wind shield made of plastic steel, which can adjust the height and angle of the wind shield more widely.

As can be seen in the figure below, as the main body of the fixed length wind shield, one end of the hanger is clamped in the chute on the back of the board to realize the matching of air conditioners of any length.

Of course, when you buy, you should also pay attention to choosing the right size. It's too short to fit, and it's too long to stretch out. In order to avoid displacement and falling of the hanger, 3M double-sided adhesive tape is attached to the product to fix the hanger. In fact, it doesn't move when nobody touches it.

After the overall installation, the effect is probably like this.

2、 Oxford windshields

The baffle part of the wind shield is a piece of cloth, and there is no frame or the like by the tension of the rollers on both sides. The advantage is that it is not easy to condense water. Of course, the actual situation is - as shown in the figure below, the wind shield with metal frame will condense a small amount of water drops that are not easy to be found in the gaps between the metal part and the fiber. As a result, the metal part is rusty (although it is called stainless steel), and the cloth part is moldy.

It is generally flat, because the fabric is straightened by the frame, it is difficult to make the arc, and because the fabric is always a little elastic, it will inevitably deform and collapse after a long time, let alone after washing.

In addition, when not in use, the surface of the cloth is also easier to accumulate dust, which is the reason why many Oxford cloth windshields claim to be washable. However, the frame is removed and then washed, dried and then installed, even if it is not deformed, the workload is not small. What about the rusty metal part?

But cloth has one advantage. The infrared signal can be penetrated directly, and the remote control is completely unaffected. Moreover, Oxford cloth can print good-looking patterns, which are much better in appearance.

How to install:

The windshields of Oxford cloth are designed to be retractable, that is to say, in the natural state, the cloth is rolled in by brackets on both sides, and it needs to be stretched as long as possible.

The design of the hanger part is similar. The principle is to put on the 'shoulders' of the air conditioner. Just because the lower end of the expansion design bracket has the force of internal contraction, a belt is added to the upper part of the hanger to balance. The measured shrinkage force is not very large, just a little strap.

Different from the one above, this type of hanger only has a knob to adjust the angle, and it's not rotating yet. It's fixed by the resistance, which is a little lacking in design. In addition, as mentioned above, the hanger can be adjusted in length, with 4 holes and 3 sections. The figure below shows the installation of the fourth additional section. Theoretically, it can not guarantee the stability of the connection, but in order to obtain a longer distance, it can only be compromised in this way.
