What do you mean by three volts and three nines

1, three V

"Three volts" refers to the first, middle and last of summer. From the summer solstice to the third day of Geng, it is the beginning of the summer. It is from the middle of July to the middle of August. It is the hottest time of the year.

'Fu' can be called 'long summer', 'Fu' is an alternative arrangement of seasons by the five experts, among which 'Fu' is' earth '. "Fu" means that Yin Qi is forced to hide underground by Yang Qi. In spring, summer, autumn and winter, the five experts crown it with wood, fire, gold and water. In a year, the five seasons are spring, summer, long summer, autumn and winter. From autumn to winter, gold generates water, water generates wood, wood generates fire, and it circulates naturally. But from summer to autumn, it's not like that. Fire conquers gold. Gold dare not come out. It's going to be dormant for a while, and "dormant" is the original meaning of "V".

In order to adapt to the situation that the human body is in a state where the sun is in the outside while the sun is in the inside, the sweat is increasing and the heat is pressing, which often leads to the physical characteristics of the summer that the body is lack of Yang due to too much publicity of the body's Yang. At this time, if the body is too cool due to heatstroke prevention, it will easily lead to too much internal cold, so that the body's Yang is even worse. In this season, the temperature is the highest, and it is humid, sultry, hot and humid in summer is our key point of prevention.

There is a saying in Chinese saying 'practice three volts in summer, practice three nines in winter'. And three volts corresponds to three nines. In China, there is a saying of "counting nine cold winters". Starting from the winter solstice, count "Nine" to calculate the season. "39" refers to the third 'nine days' after the winter solstice, that is, the 19th to 27th days after the winter solstice. "The third ninth day after the winter solstice" refers to "September 9th", which is also the date when "September 9th" and "September 4th" intersect. It is not "September 3rd", that is to say, "September 3rd" is nine days rather than one day. People said: 'count nine cold days, cold in September'. "39" usually appears in winter solstice to hibernate.

Three volts, three nines

1, three V

The so-called "three volts" is the general term for the first, the middle and the last. The specific date of the "three volts" is determined by the date of the solar term and the date of the ganzhiji. Geng, ranked seventh in the heavenly stems, belongs to gold in the collocation with the five elements. Gold is afraid of fire and decreases day by day in the weather of several volts. Therefore, the ancients counted "volts" in terms of Geng days. According to the traditional calculation method of our country, the third and fourth day after the summer solstice is the start date of the first and second ambush respectively, and the first day after the beginning of autumn is the first day of the third ambush. The duration of the three dog days is not the same. If the Zhongfu ends after the beginning of autumn, it is 30 days; if the Zhongfu ends before the beginning of autumn, it is 40 days (20 days). It occurs from the middle of July to the middle of August every year.

In ancient China, the time was recorded by the combination of heavenly stems and earthly branches. There are 10 numbers of heavenly stems, i.e. a, B, C, D, e, J, G, Xin, Ren, GUI, and 12 numbers of earthly branches, i.e. Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, you, Xu, Hai. To match the heavenly stems with the earthly branches, we need Jiazi, Yichou, Bingyin, Dingmao & hellip; & hellip;, to cooperate with each other 60 times, so it's called 60 flower Jiazi.

"Three Geng" is to meet three "Geng" characters, to the third Geng day for the first fall. Because there are 10 heavenly stems, there is a day of Geng every 10 days, such as Geng Zi day, Geng Yin day, Geng Chen day, etc. 365 days in a year (366 days in a leap year) are not integral multiples of 10. One day in this year, the next year is not necessarily the day of Geng. Because of the change of the Geng day, the date of ambush is different every year.

In China, there is a saying of "counting nine cold winters". Starting from the winter solstice, count "Nine" to calculate the season. The specific calculation method is from the winter solstice day (around December 22 of the Gregorian calendar) to (the winter solstice day is called 'jiaojiu', which means the beginning of the ninth cold day), every nine days is one '9', the first nine days is called '19', the second nine days is called '29', and so on, until '99', and when the number reaches 9981 (around March 12 of the Gregorian calendar), it is' jujiu '(the number nine ends, the number nine cold days comes out ) By this time, the winter was over and spring came.

"39" refers to the third 'nine days' after the winter solstice, that is, the 19th to 27th days after the winter solstice. "The third ninth day after the winter solstice" refers to "September 9th". It is also the date when "September 9th" and "September 4th" intersect. It is not "September 9th", that is to say, "September 39th" is nine days rather than one day. People said: 'count nine cold days, cold in September'. "39" usually appears in winter solstice to hibernate.

Why is' cold at 39, hot at 3 volts'

Because the earth's rotation axis tilts at a certain angle, there will be changes in the four seasons when it rotates around the sun. However, in most parts of China, the coldest and hottest period of the year is not the winter solstice and summer solstice with the lowest (the weakest) and the highest (the strongest) solar height, but often postponed, that is, the proverb "cold in September, hot in the third volt".

Why do the coldest and hottest periods of the year delay to '39' and '3 volts'? Because the rise and fall of temperature depends not only on the income of heat, but also on the expenditure of heat radiated from the ground to space. When the two are in balance, the temperature will rise or fall. Although the solar radiation on the ground began to decrease after the summer solstice, it was still larger than the expenditure, and the temperature remained rising until the balance of payments was reached ('three volts'). Similarly, between the winter solstice and '39', the temperature continued to decline because the ground heat expenditure was still greater than the income, and it did not start to rise until '39'.
