How is nosebleed during pregnancy? How to solve nosebleed during pregnancy

4hw.com.cn: many mothers have nosebleeds during pregnancy. Some of them have to take medicine and injection when nosebleeds are serious. What's the matter with nosebleeds of pregnant women? Let's follow the editor to learn more about it~

Nosebleed of pregnant women is influenced by progesterone

After pregnancy, not only does the corpus luteum secrete estrogen, but also the placental villi produce a lot of estrogen. The level of estrogen in the blood of pregnant women is ten times higher than that before pregnancy. Under the influence of estrogen, the nasal mucosa is swollen, local blood vessels are dilated and congested, and easy to be damaged and bleeding. The anterior and inferior part of the nasal septum is rich in blood vessels, and the superficial part of the septum is easy to be damaged.

During pregnancy, the mother's nose is so fragile that it is easy to bleed if she is slightly affected by fire, dry air, local irritation and trauma. However, during pregnancy, a small amount of epistaxis occasionally will not cause serious impact on the body. After emotional stability, local compression or stimulation of vasoconstriction, the bleeding will often stop after a few minutes, without medication or injection.

Pregnant women with nosebleed are deficient in vitamin K

If pregnant women's vitamin K absorption is insufficient, the thrombin element in the blood is reduced, which is easy to cause coagulation disorders. It can not only cause nosebleed, but also cause fetal congenital disorders, not only nosebleed, but also cause fetal congenital vision and intellectual development disorders. Therefore, pregnant women should eat foods rich in vitamin K, such as cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, lettuce, zhizur, pickled vegetables, etc.

Nosebleed in pregnant women is a disease

If pregnant women suffer from nasal polyps, hematopathy, coagulation dysfunction, acute respiratory infection and other diseases, epistaxis often occurs. In particular, check whether there is any blood disease, which may cause bleeding due to thrombocytopenia, and the defect of coagulation factor may also cause bleeding.

In addition, pregnant women are also prone to epistaxis due to the following conditions: trauma, fracture, operation, skull base fracture of nose and paranasal sinuses, irritation or injury of nasal mucosa, such as nose digging, excessive cough, sneezing, forced nose change, foreign body in nasal cavity, etc. Inflammation, infection, such as acute and chronic rhinitis, sinusitis, dry rhinitis, atrophic rhinitis and special infection. Hypertension, such as persistent hypertension, granular kidney, chronic nephritis, arteriosclerosis and so on, can lead to transient arterial blood pressure rise and epistaxis.

Nosebleed in pregnant women is' compensatory menstruation '

Generally speaking, menstruation does not occur during pregnancy. However, some pregnant women are more likely to have nosebleed, which is the "compensatory menstruation" mainly due to nosebleed. Whether pregnant women will have nosebleed or not is related to their physical fitness. As long as the amount of bleeding is not much, it is harmless to the body.

Emergency measures for nosebleed of pregnant women

① During pregnancy, epistaxis is usually on one side of nose, and the amount of bleeding is not much, or only the nose mixed with blood. As most of the parts of epistaxis are located in the front and lower part of the nasal septum, it is only necessary to press the alar on the bleeding side to the nasal septum tightly, or plug a small clean cotton, and then press it to stop bleeding.

② If there is bleeding in both nostrils, the thumb and index finger can be used to squeeze the alar of both sides, compress the bleeding area under the front of the nasal septum for about 5 minutes, and then apply cold towel or ice bag on the forehead and nose to reduce the bleeding and accelerate the hemostasis. When nosebleed, don't panic. Calm down. Because the spirit is nervous, often can make blood pressure heighten and aggravate haemorrhage. If the blood flows to the back of the nose, it must be vomited and cannot be swallowed. Otherwise, it will stimulate the gastric mucosa and easily cause vomiting. If the bleeding is not stopped by the above measures, the patient should go to the hospital immediately.

③ A small amount of bleeding during pregnancy can be stopped by itself or after self compression. If the nosebleed caused by the disease may occur repeatedly and the bleeding volume is large, we must be alert and go to the hospital in time for treatment.
