China's ranking dropped two places to 75th, even below the average of the national football team's historical ranking. In this ranking update cycle, China has held two international A-level events, namely, 1-0 win over Myanmar, 2-0 win over Thailand. Although the Chinese team has won in both competitions, due to the low international ranking of the two rivals, the ranking of the Chinese team did not increase but decreased, and was surpassed by Syria in the Asian ranking.
