It involves five points: standardizing the dissemination of special identification code and password information; standardizing the dissemination of audio-visual content; forbidding to change the user's return path; forbidding to use the floating layer containing the user's privacy data; and adopting a step-by-step processing mechanism for violations. If you violate these five points, the caution sign will be gone.
On May 20, 2018, in order to protect the privacy of users and optimize the wechat external link experience, wechat further upgraded the relevant rules of wechat external link content management specification:
1. Standardize the dissemination of special identification code and password information
In order to avoid the harassment of users caused by excessive marketing, it is not allowed to publish and disseminate special identification code and password information with identification and marking functions in the circle of friends.
2. Standardize audio-visual content dissemination
External links shall not disseminate the contents of audio-visual programs in any form without obtaining legal licenses such as permission for information network dissemination of audio-visual programs.
3. Do not change the user return path
External links are not allowed to change the user's return path, including but not limited to the forced jump to a non upper level page when the user clicks "return".
4. It is forbidden to use floating layer with user's privacy data
Since the use of floating layer in external links may lead to the disclosure of user's nickname and other information, the use of floating layer with user's data privacy will be prohibited in external link sharing, otherwise it will be deemed as illegal treatment.
5. Adopt step-by-step handling mechanism for violations
After the first illegal modification of the link, you can apply for unsealing.
Send an email to: moment@tencent.com, indicating the blocked links and modifications. The second time is banned for 12 hours, the third time for one day, and the fourth time and above for one week. After that, if the modification is not completed, it will not be unsealed.
For the behavior of malicious technology confrontation (including but not limited to using multiple domain names and multiple accounts to avoid platform restrictions), once found, the account, domain name, IP address or sharing interface will be permanently banned.
The above rules will come into force on May 29.
