The latest salary adjustment of the minimum wage standard in Shandong in 2018

4hw.com.cn: Recently, Shandong provincial government issued a notice to adjust the provincial minimum wage standard and issue the 2018 enterprise wage guideline. The adjusted monthly minimum wage standard of the whole province is 1910 yuan, 1730 yuan and 1550 yuan; the hourly minimum wage standard is 19.1 yuan, 17.3 yuan and 15.5 yuan, with an average increase of 5.5%. In 2018, the monetary wage growth of enterprise employees was 11% online, 7% baseline and 3% offline. This is the adjustment of the minimum wage standard in Shandong Province for 9 consecutive years, and the issuance of the enterprise wage guidance line for 20 consecutive years.

According to the person in charge of the Labor Relations Department of the provincial human resources and social security department, eight provinces (municipalities directly under the central government, autonomous regions) have adjusted the minimum wage standard in 2018. The current minimum wage standard of our province has been implemented since June 1, 2017. The highest monthly minimum wage standard is 1810 yuan, ranking 8th in the country; the highest hourly minimum wage standard is 18.1 yuan, ranking 9th in the country.

The adjustment of the minimum wage standard in our province is not only the need to ensure and improve people's livelihood in the development, but also the need to guarantee the basic life of workers and their supporting population. At the same time, considering the moderate rise of consumer price index, the steady growth of social average wage, and the increase of the minimum payment of social insurance year by year, we will adjust the pension benefits of retirees and the basic pension standards of residents this year.

The monthly minimum wage standard is applicable to full-time employees; the hourly minimum wage standard is applicable to part-time employees. The adjusted minimum wage shall be implemented from June 1, 2018. After the adjustment, the highest monthly minimum wage standard of our province is 1910 yuan, ranking fifth in the country; the highest hourly minimum wage standard is 19.1 yuan, ranking fourth in the country.

The salary guidance line is an important basis for the collective negotiation between enterprises and employees. According to the salary survey data of enterprises, the labor cost of enterprises in our province is in the lower middle level in the whole country. From 2011 to 2016, the labor cost of enterprises in our province accounted for 12.25% of the total cost, of which the labor compensation accounted for 8.5% of the total cost, and the social insurance expense accounted for 1.9% of the total cost. There is still some room for the growth of employees' wages.

According to the economic and social development of our province and the wage status of enterprise employees, after the deliberation of the executive meeting of the provincial government and the review of the Ministry of human resources and social security, the enterprise wage guidance line in 2018 has been determined. Based on the estimated average wage of the enterprise employees in 2017 of 62305 yuan, the monetary wage of the enterprise employees increased by 11% online, 7% baseline and 3% offline.
