Jingmen planning, survey, design and Research Institute was established in January 1984. It is a sub county level self-supporting institution approved by the municipal organization and establishment office, and is subordinate to Jingmen urban and Rural Planning Bureau. At present, it has four class A qualifications: Class A of urban and rural planning, class a of Municipal Industry (Road Engineering), class a of Surveying and mapping, class a of Engineering Investigation (Geotechnical Engineering Investigation), class B of Municipal Industry (bridge), class B of construction engineering and class C of Municipal Industry (water supply and drainage). In 2006, it passed the ISO9001 quality system certification and was recognized as a high-tech enterprise by the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China in 2017.
After more than 30 years of development, it has formed a comprehensive survey and design research institute focusing on urban and rural planning and research, integrating urban design, architectural engineering design, municipal road and bridge design, water supply and drainage design and engineering mapping, geographic information, geotechnical engineering survey and other disciplines.
At present, there are more than 150 employees, 80% of them have bachelor's degree or above, 25 have senior professional title, 70 have intermediate professional title, 38 have all kinds of registered personnel, including 11 registered planners, 6 registered surveyors, 3 Registered geotechnical engineers, 5 registered equipment engineers, 2 first class Registered architects, 2 first class registered structural engineers, 4 second class registered architects and 2 second class registered structural engineers There are 2 Chengshi and 3 registered cost engineers. All kinds of professional supporting facilities are reasonable, with complete technical equipment, advanced design means, good office conditions, and strong comprehensive strength.
In recent years, our institute has established good cooperative relations with China Academy of urban planning and design, Tongji University Institute of planning and design, Nanjing University Institute of planning and design, Shanghai Municipal Design Institute and other well-known institutes. With the responsibility of 'creating excellent design and serving the development of the city', our institute has completed more than 40000 engineering construction projects in accordance with the design concept of 'innovation and truth-seeking' Planning, preparation, survey and design tasks, won 65 excellent engineering projects of the Ministry and the province. As a design institution, our institute has won many honorary titles such as provincial and municipal advanced unit of industry and municipal civilized unit.
