At present, the maternity leave of Shenzhen mothers is subject to the relevant regulations of the state and Guangdong Province:

At least 178 days of maternity leave

① If a child is born in accordance with laws and regulations (no matter the first, second or other circumstances), the child can enjoy 98 days of normal maternity leave + 80 days of bonus leave, a total of 178 days.

② If there are special circumstances such as dystocia and multiple births, the maternity leave for dystocia shall be increased by 30 days. For multiple births, the maternity leave for each additional baby shall be increased by 15 days.

Legal basis for Shenzhen mother to take maternity leave:
